Yes, but I find it mainly touching, deeply human. If the elves actually existed and if they were watching the human society, they would feel essentially what I felt when I first watched that film, what I feel each time I watch it again: sadness ___________________________________________________

| I very rarely watch a film more than once or twice. "Kes", I must have watched it five times. The only other film that moved me more than it was "Lord of the flies" (1963).
