Careful clean crotcheting. Surprisingly harmonic colors! Guess I'd never thought to mix those yarns. The way you've combined it to fair-dark-fair-... regions it makes me think of male-female. Yin-Yang.

A really great afghan - pleasant for the eyes and cozy to huddle in.

Wow, so much lovely creative work around here! G0lden, those blankets look so comfy, and the colors are wonderful. Kindredsoul, I'm afraid the photos on page one are mostly gone Sad But the drawing I can see is a lot of fun! Stargazer, I agree with everyone that those are AMAZING, and must take a ton of work and time! Wow!

Embala, I absolutely love the emphasis on natural stone shapes--the second is probably my favorite. Great color choices!

For me, I've already posted a link to my website in my introduction thread, but this piece isn't quite finished so I haven't posted it there. This is one of my more 'realistic' designs, who I call Moon Child:
Here's the original design:

And this is the head under the wolf face!

This is the closest I have to a full body picture right now...

And the image from my avatar in full!

Afraid not. The original phone the pictures were taken with is gone. The original laptop the pictures were downloaded to is completely shot.

Drawing, sculpting, felting - you are a multi talent, Cloudbuck!

The concept sketch of Moon Child looks great already - intriguing design. The bust sculpture is an interesting mix of familiar and alien features ... eerie eyes. A nature spirit ... a dream vision. The felt skin turned out very natural in shape and color with the hands as an eerie touch. I love that the wolf eyes match the child's eyes.
Excellent work! I'm looking forward to see the finished doll.

I've said it before: Crimson Snapdragon is major fun - he loves the camera. ^^ Golden Dream Snake is a cutie. I love you I love her scales ... how rein head and felt body show the same design. The combination of resin faces and felted wool bodies works fab!
I like the owl faces...
... which are NO owl faces but heads for fox and deer and whatever. Owlish This chimare touch make them true dream creatures. Awesome shading in the flox creatures and carefully worked patterns on the Arolos.

You put skills, experiance and love in those creatures, Cloudbuck, and the SHOW. They have character. *bows*

Looking at the photos makes me wonder ... are they partly movable - poseable?

Thank you for the kind comment on the necklaces, Cloudbuck. I love raw gemstones and natural crystals, even "tainted" ones - they have so much natural life and character for me. Of course they work best in combination with polished ones. differrences make good sparks. ^^
My Atlantis Necklace seems to be very prominent here. Very Happy It's larimar (atlantis stone), aquamarine, fossile ammonite, nacre and small pearls with some silver.

Here are some more archaic ones:

emerald, petrified wood, pyrite, fossile ammonite, pearls

emerald again, white marble, silvery pearls, moonstone and silver

ruby, bone, mammuth ivory, "rusty" berg-crystal, silver

I wish I could go to my gemstone shop with you, Kindredsoul, and choose crystals and gemstones and create a necklace just for you. *hugs*

Embala, thank you so much! I'm so happy to know that my work brings a smile Smile And as for your question--most of my creatures can strike a pose! Not all... The little armadillo looking guys (the Arolos) are a bit too stumpy to bend anything besides their tails, and I like them like that. But snakes can move a little bit....

And the flox have wires all the way through, so they can really dance around!

It's so much fun to see more of your lovely necklaces! I think this time the last one, with the mammoth ivory, is my favorite--those colors are very soothing and earthy, with just enough variation to keep you really engaged. It feels very balanced and centered to me, even if it's not typically symmetrical. You must collect a lot of different beads and stones to be able to find such nice matches! I wonder what other creations are hiding out in your collection, waiting to be made....

Of course your work brings a smile, Cloudbuck! Smile And many more Very Happy Your creatures are as beautiful as unique. And they can actually pose for the camera! It's a pleasure to see the flox buck all playful and lively. I love you

Thanks for the detailed comment on my necklaces. So happy they can bring fun to other people, too. "Earthy" describes the ruby necklace very well. I try to avoid "symetrical" unless the gems long for it but I do my best to get it balanced. Actually the first emerald one is my favorite in this batch - earthy and archaic as well and ... it turned out just like I had envisioned it.
It's great to create various jewelry and series. There's only one problem ... my mind tends to design two new necklaces while my hands work to finish one. ^^ It has pros and cons to have a gemstone and crafts shop almost next door. XD

Thank you for the kind comment, G0lden! sunny

Glad you like this place and the manifold crafts and artwork, Zadzi. Help to fill it! THIS instruction may be helpful to solve your problem. PM me in case you need to know more.
I'm looking forward to see you gemstones ... and your jewelry art! *is impatient*

Awww... the cardigan is adorably cute. A pack of wolves in snow covered plains and more snow falling. *yes, I've allowed my imagination to wander a bit* The little one will look even more adorable in it!

The scarf suits you so well, Stargazer! Careful, clean work. I love the mixed hues of blue and the delicate lace border.

Thank you both! Very Happy

It was officially foxes on the cardigan, but it could just as easily be wolves...I hadn't thought of it that way. I like your interpretation of it Embala!

I apologize for the bad quality of the pictures. They are not photos but scans and the scanner does not agree well with uneven material. XD

Some more necklaces - a different style but elfy as well. ^^

odsidian (?), onyx, coral, lacquer carving (or simply good looking plasic - I don't care ^^) with silver
I've scanned the backside of the leaf to show the delicate pattern - it's invisible on the front scan.

some kind of agate or jasper, bronzite, coral with silver

porcellanite, turquoise, agate, malachite and what else (actually a mix of green and grey rests ^^) with silver
