| You don't have to subscribe to any religious belief to be thankful. Gratitude is a healthy state of mind.
Please share the things in your life for which you are grateful. ___________________________________________________

| I have a roof above my bed, my own warm bed to sleep in, I am guaranteed three meals a day, school and hospital are free and while I am terrified about failing on my Bachelor paper, I will still get a new chance.
If I wasn't grateful for this, I wouldn't know what gratitude was even if it hit me upside the head.

| I'm grateful for "Elfquest," without which I wouldn't have all you wonderful people, nor my husband and daughter! (He doesn't actually like "Elfquest" - we met through another friend of ours who did.)
I'm grateful for my home, which is snug in winter and has a/c in summer.
I'm grateful for my garden with flowers to gladden the heart and fruits and veggies to fill the stomach.
I'm grateful for my family and their love and support even though some of us walk very different paths.

| I'm grateful for my job and the ability to find another one. Â My dogs. Â Both of my boys, at one time they thought I would not be able to have children.
That I have a home and loving family as well. ___________________________________________________ Reese's, Kashmir's, and Tequila's mommy.

| I'm grateful for freedom for speech, and for not being persecuted due to my sexual preferences. I am grateful for having had a good education.
Oh, and kitties.

| I am thankful for the life I have been given. Through this life, I have been given an amazing family, for which I was born into. I am thankful for my mother, my father, and my sisters for shaping me. I am thankful for my dearest friends, who are family in my heart. I am thankful for my pets, who I love as my own children. I am thankful for the opportunity to try and make someone else's day better or brighter. I am thankful for how fortunate I am, even when my luck is down. I am thankful for my ability to write and convey things both from my mind and heart. I am thankful for this forum, where I can express myself and be accepted. I am thankful for each breath I am given. I am thankful for each second I am alive. I am thankful, for having so much to be thankful for. | |

| Years ago I decided to be thankful for everything, good or bad. It's beyond me to figure out what is good and what is bad, in terms of the "butterfly effect." ___________________________________________________ | |

| Well, said, Trollbabe.
Although I can't ever be grateful for my grandmother's passing, I am grateful she didn't have to suffer anymore. It's the same with my grandfather - I of course would rather he was still here, but he died just as his health was beginning to fail and he wanted to die in his own home, with dignity, and he did just that. For that I am grateful.

Thank you, Tymber. Although four and a half and two and a half years have passed since then, there are some wounds that time just won't heal. Perhaps that is something to be grateful for as well - that even though it hurts, it is better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all.

| My father would have been a hundred years old this fall. He had us late in life.
When I miss my old Daddy, I just look at his face in the mirror. ___________________________________________________

| Like you Trollbabe I miss my late grandfather greatly. He was 84 when he passed 21 yrs. ago. To have grandparents when one is in their 30's, I know is unusual. I was his favorite grandchild, when I was growing up and I was very lucky I had him for so long. He worried over every surgery I had and if he was around still, he would been happy that my last surgery went well. ___________________________________________________ Reese's, Kashmir's, and Tequila's mommy. | |

| Thank you for my cat. Her prescense is soothing moods, makes it a pleasant wake up, saves a used day and keeps dream monsters in check.
Thank you for friends who care and give love. They care and give encouragement for the less practical, less importantthings I love to spend time with and try to be lifebouy and anchor when needed.
Thank you that my mother is alive. I can still try to mend some things ... sooth them at least. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| Right now I am most grateful for my cat, a gorgeous soft sweet-tempered intelligent tuxedo named Mooch. Maybe I'm still reeling a bit from Filcher being gone, but am really feeling just how much this wee beastie is a friend and treasure to me. | |

| I am grateful to my colleague, who has always supported me and could appease. It can be rough, but she always said reality. I am grateful to my parents, when they approved my divorce, do not turn away from me. I am grateful to my eldest daughter. She's a good girl, but as a teenager does not think so. I am grateful to her for what she is helping me with the younger twins. Keep track of them in school. And when I was in the hospital, she's going to school twins. | |

| It is touching how many people are grateful to their pets. I can understand it; I am also grateful for my guinea pigs. They always manage to cheer me up. And I am grateful for all the family members and friends that are still around; for every moment we can spend together. I am grateful that I am able to work and also care for my children. And I am grateful for my creativity, because it is such a great emotional outlet. I think I would have gone crazy if I had not been able to write and draw. ___________________________________________________ | |
