Well it seems clear that you intend the fleet of ships from the cover for #10 to be these other elves. I'm wondering who the Renegade is; I didn't really read the BoTC novels.

Trouble is I won't dare write a tale about that (supposed) daughter of Bearclaw. I've gathered enough hints pointing at her existence and her banishment, but there's not enough for me to write the corresponding tale.

With the end of the Final Quest, it's now obvious Wendy chose a path TOTALLY DIFFERENT from what I expected. All the grim tales I wrote are totally irrelevant. Everything I imagined will remain imaginary. I don't even feel like like writing such tales anymore. pitypitypity, yes, but disgust, disappointment, you know... It will take me some time to recover.
I must admit that even my wildest, weirdest expectations NEVER included such a devastating soul-link between Cutter and Timmain, Cutter's death by a spider, fungamungus elves, and the like ... erm... ( I cannot find the adequate adjectives in order to qualify it all ) events and turns of that "final quest".
I just feel glad about the use of the adjective "final", before the word "quest".

Your imaginations and stories are NOT irrelevant, PC! You shouldn't quit storytelling. It's so creative and unique. <3
There are ENDLESS possibilities in Elfquest because Wendy describes her story as part of a Multiverse (many parallel universes co-existing without knowing of each other).
'Wendy writes: The Scroll of Colors is a very interesting mystical/magical device. It shows what has happened, what is happening and what will happen – but in limitless different versions, all possible. One thread of color shows things happening one way. Another thread of color plays the very same thing out in a different way. The different scenarios keep changing through the butterfly effect. And so on, ad infinitum.'

Still about the disappointment about Wendy's version of The Final Quest: many are with you. :-( I respect Wendy's decision yet I still wonder how this ending could satisfy her, the creator.
