One of my jobs is assistant living to a wonderful 90 year young lady named Rose. I recieved the job just months after my last living grandmother had passed away, and Rose helped in the healing process of that loss.

She's so quick witted, strong willed, and is NOT afraid to speak her mind! She makes me laugh all the time. I thoroughly enjoy caring for her.

My second job is at my local neighborhood bakery. My sciatic pain HATES this job, but the braces I wear make the pain tolerable, and the extra income helps with both of my boys being in college later this year.

Then there's the *no pay* jobs I have...
-Laundress
-Housekeeping
-Family accountant
-Child Psychologist (this job never ends even when they're grown  Suspect  )
-Stock and supply of Family consumption
-Home Gardener
-Auto Maintenance
-Animal husbandry to 4 dogs, 2 cats, a dragon, a bird, and currently babysitting a ball python

Just to name a few  Laughing  Laughing

Sounds like my mom. She informed my back 2003 that my dad was considering retiring. First question from me. Does he have a death wish? My mom busted up she knew what I was talking about.

My darling mother is always on the go and doing things. She still works as a hairdresser too.

Dad retired during the great recession and he drives her crazy. So he does side jobs now to keep out of trouble. Or he goes fishing or hunting, take your pick.

Used to be a lighting adviser and complaint department monkey at a major lamp manufacturing business. Unfortunately my career ended a couple of years ago. But, the good news is I do lots of volunteer work, mostly at this theatre. Also, I'm an artist of sorts- I do prints, sculpture, photography.

I draw stuff. What I draw varies depending on the job I get. Lately, I've been freelancing- so it's all over the place. Last week, I drew a poster for a cartoon/tv show, some furniture concepts for a furniture company, and some poster sketch art for an advertising company. I wonder what I will do next week?

I'm a paralegal for a very small law firm in a mid-sized town. That means I wear a lot of hats: accountant, payroll specialist, assistant property manager (one of the lawyers also owns and manages the building), proofreader, writer of legal documents and correspondence, file clerk and organizer, software specialist, and leader of a team of two other legal assistants.

I train people.

And I take care of pets.

That's all.

Regular job - more or less eight-to-five at a local bankhouse. Nothing like the bankhouses you might have in mind - we are very much small to mid-sized enterprises. Traditional investment and private/business loans mostly.
No customers service for me - I'm back office. Organization - everything must be written down here to count as being organized. And "Mom" of the apprentices ... sums it up nicely.

I am the simple worker
at factory. I work as the
operator at unloading of
an iron ore concentrate,
I make documents on
each car. I work in the
railway schedule: 12
hours a day, then 12
hours at night, 2 days of
rest.

Factory jobs are pretty scarce in the US these days. I was replaced by a computer after eighteen years. Many of the other jobs have gone overseas.

I am a "household assistant", or whatever is the politically correct term these days. Back in the old days my job description would have been something along the lines of "maidservant". Basically, I do cleaning and cooking for my aunt's family. It's a part-time job, so I also volunteer for Lahden Seta, which is our local organization for LGBTIQ rights and equality.

I'm a Student of Englsh and Communications at Aarhus University. However, my money-earning-way is a bit complicated.

In Denmark students get money from the state while they're studying, but since I got behind on my studies I used up the alloted time, so now I get a sort of disability pay you get if you can prove that I really want to do this, and I can do this. I jus have some issues which means that I need more time!

Eat (too much), Sleep (not enough), Breathe (too loudly), Pump blood...

Just a few things that I do to keep me living...

Leanan, I got all the letters in LGBTIQ except the letter "I."

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, "I", questioning.  What did I miss?

I try to persuade people who can't write, to get me to do their writing for them.

Yes, the I is intersex, and sorry I forgot to include 'A' for 'asexual' and 'allies'. Zhantee (other, even longer versions of the abbreviation exist).
