| You found something more to please your eyes, dear friend! Your praise is flattering and heartwarming, PC. All I know is that this idea was born the moment I've found this star-sparkling universe banned in an egg. The collage turned out just the way I've envisioned. I figure that this jewel is part of your collection now, PC? I would be honored! Thank you for the praise, Fairyring! The Reef series was a nice way to show how I work ... or better: How it works for me. ^^ ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

Funnily, it's not. I'm not that obsessed with eggs. ___________________________________________________

| Which gemstone(s) would match the character Embala? Because you described it as greenish, blueish but with soft rainbow shimmer...:-) ___________________________________________________ Where flowers bloom, so does hope. - Lady Bird Johnson | |

| Imagine opale like this or that or these - basically each precious opale you can get (not so much the red mexican fire opales) ... or labradorite like this or that or those. Shimmering gemstones without a clearly defined color and a secret you need to discover. | Love it! Light Pink, light-hearted, playful. You capture her character beautifully in a gem-way. <3. Soooo Ruffel.
Also I love every gem which describes you. The colors look mystical but also refreshing. Loving blues and greens very much. These colours can bring peace to a stressed soul as well as calm the mind. ___________________________________________________ Where flowers bloom, so does hope. - Lady Bird Johnson

| It's been so long ... Dreamberry Dreams Pike was a gift. An irresistible challenge. Inpired by PCoquelin's vine shaped chalcedon! ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| What a nice thread! Checking the dates...wow it's been a long time. I hope you find more to indulge in your interest!
Admittedly i think i like the Timmain/Skywise one way more than i should...i keep staring at it.
This Pike one is absolutely perfect! I always found these circular bunched formations very odd but interesting to look at.

| Hehehe ... Pike has definitely fun, Yeee! And Pike got another fan! He's willing to share with you, Vaeri. Sounds like my job is done well if I've made you ogle. ^^ A good friend once told me that I make the best of my motives. Admittedly this egg was an easy job - the "starlite sky" was just made for Skywise and Timmain. And I've found more ... Water Shine ... Larimar, the jewel of the Caribian Sea for Korafay. btw: I've fixed the broken link - delicate Aroree shows on the first page again. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| I didn't know where to put this and didn't want to start a new thread. Does anyone have or know where to find front/top/side views of the palace (preferably both early and 'shards', and current, I suppose.) I want to 3d model it but only have a couple reference images in the comics and they aren't all that detailed. ___________________________________________________ | |

| There are so many versions of the Palace (not so many illustrations of each of them, tho) - depends what you are looking for. Here you go, Hammer! clickediclick This? ... these? ... or That? Here and Here and Here? or There? More? ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| Thanks for the links, Em! Just what I needes. Which version is your favorite? I might try the boxier one first, as it has some fairly defined features and should just be easier. I like the OQ one but the curves will be hard to get right.
I wish there was a way to get rocks shaped up for your arts, we found a bunch of nice looking translucent minerals yesterday, but its hard to figure out how to cut them into anything interesting. ___________________________________________________

| One is glad to be of help, Hammer. Hard to tell which Palace version I like best. Neither the rocky ruins in the Mountains nor the perfect stony desert version. The fairytale-like delicate and shiny crystalline building from EQ1 is intriguing ... but still not what talks to me most. I like the pure crystal shape - even better in partial camouflage: Here and HereIf you want to make your pretty finds prettier have you thought of some kind of drum maschine to smooth edges and polish the rocks and gems? I love "drum stones" ... often prefer them to actually cut stones. Depending on the degree of hardness of your rocks you need the fitting grinding powder. And if you have a maschine to drill the drum stones they make great pendants. Even "not precious" rocks and stones can look fascinating! ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |
