| I did. Sometimes I just need a little break from all the stuff. It's a case of what I can't see can't hurt me and I've cried for too long now. Don't worry about me though, I'm a tough old bird and I will be absolutely fine *huggles* Love you to bits, you're brilliant! ___________________________________________________ Zebbed as the First Lady of Naughtyniceness! | Ha!! I've got a free bus pass now, I could end up on anyone's doorstep at any time! Dangerous things, bus passes. You don't have to ask the bus driver for a ticket! ___________________________________________________ Zebbed as the First Lady of Naughtyniceness! Ever considered asking the bus driver where the bus drives to? I would be rather surprised if you turned up at my doorstep. ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game! | |

| I'm wondering who decided the size of 'one portion of rice' written on rice packages. Their idea of 'one portion' is way more than I could eat in one meal. ___________________________________________________ | |

I would be rather surprised if you turned up at my doorstep. That would be far too sensible! ___________________________________________________ Zebbed as the First Lady of Naughtyniceness! Cast as Petalwing in the EQ Forums Movie Dubbed Google Queen by Kindredsoul

| Years ago I became friends with my bus driver. I had to sit near her because I fell asleep on the bus and would miss my stop. She remembered where I got off and would wake me up if I dozed. Eventually, we started chatting and became friends. Her mom was a baker and once made me a cake for my birthday. I gave her children some books as gifts for theirs. Her name was Crystal. I wonder how she is doing now and where she went. She was an amazing bus driver.
She told me the one requirement was aggressive driving! She said she liked people in LA vs other places-- because if they were going to pull a jerk move in the car- they did it without hesitation-- so she could always trust the other drivers to be jerks and react accordingly. I wonder if that's actually true?
I also wonder if she remembers me like I remember her? Or if she has just had so many passengers since that I have faded into the recesses of the past?

| I can assure you that is true, Lunakat.... I've lived in a lot of places and while LA traffic can be hell, there's some kind of weird respect to the aggression, it was automatic and people's reflexes tend to be really sharp. Other places I've driven in, the aggression is all over the place and ranges from the obnoxious to just dumb and slow.
I'm wondering why meringue is soft for my lime tart. I've never made meringue before but my aunt gave me this professional KitchenAid stand mixer and I think I did everything right. But then I was reading that meringue toppings for pies are usually soft in comparison to like regular meringue. I have no idea. I can't remember the last time I had a pie with meringue topping so I don't even have a frame of reference .... oh well. At least it taste good. I'm also wondering why I've been procrastinating SO MUCH lately. Maybe I'm having a hard time coming out of vacation mode. I have 15 pages left to finish in the next week and while that's not a lot, I just feel all squirm-y. Like I want to be back at the beach again, some secluded beach like we were in at Cayo Costa in Florida... and I'm wondering when we're going to the Outer Banks this summer, because I really want to go crabbing again and oyster-ing. ___________________________________________________ Thank you for the beautiful banner, Embala

| I have a feeling the result in the end will be NOT what anyone would have wanted. That's normally how things go. We can't all be satisfied. I'm glad I'm not British right now. I wish the common people in the streets good luck for the future. And wonder how it will go | |

| Just putting it out there that I voted to remain! So did my daughter, bf, sister, friends and most of the people I know.
I can't even celebrate that our Prime Minister resigned, the people that could replace him are an even more terrifying prospect. Although I do hope Teflon Dave the spoon faced, tax dodging pig f***er never works in politics again. ___________________________________________________ Zebbed as the First Lady of Naughtyniceness! | @ Nibs: Of course, smart people voted to remaIN. I'm gobsmacked too. Still can't believe the Brits fell for the lies the Brexshitters spread so thoroughly. News from Google Trends, NOW the British are googling what the EU exit really means... would have been wiser if they'd done it before selling their country to the right-wingers and burning billions of ££. https://twitter.com/GoogleTrends/status/746137920940056578 No doubt getting rid of Cameron is a good thing, but couldn't it have been done in a less violent way, say, by shooting him? The collateral damage will be huge now. And Johnson will probably exceed Cameron in being worst PM ever. ___________________________________________________ 「からだの傷ならなおせるけれど心のいたではいやせはしない」

I'm just wondering...it's like most of Europe from what I've seen is moving to the right, the right is gaining popularity due to the immigration/refugee issue ...I think this is just a vert reactionary thing. It's the equivalent of being in a business meeting and ripping up 30 years of business contracts right there...makes for maybe less sophisticated types cheering the bombastic style, but over the longterm, this is probably going to hurt. Meanwhile, Trump goes to Scotland and continues to be an embarrassing idiot: http://uproxx.com/news/trump-brexit-tweet/ Yeah, they never voted to leave the EU, you moron. I wonder what Scotland thinks of Trump. And I wonder what it thinks of this entire EU business...it's certainly going to be an interesting year (at least). ___________________________________________________ Thank you for the beautiful banner, Embala
