| Bowki was the son of Serrin, Dart and Talmah. He was one of few who could bring a smile to Dart's face after the Sun Village/Go-Back war.
He really touched my heart in the short few pages we saw him. ___________________________________________________ Thanks to Embala for the lovely banner! The quote belongs to Scooter.

| Were Strongbow and Moonshade in wrapstuff during Bowki's short life? They don't seem to acknowledge that he ever existed, which is a shame. ___________________________________________________ | |

| Yeah. Bowki was born, lived and probably also died, during the Long Sleep. ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game! | |

| I see this "forgotten child" has some fans who care, Trollbabe who give him more life in art and story. Actually those "hidden ones" can be a gift for fans. They can become "their" characters. Bowki was born and died during the long wait. Whether Strongbow and Moonshade don't think much of a grandchild they never knew - or whether Moonshde has a spiritual tea party with him every Sunday from 3pm to 5 pm - I don't care a lot. So much is supposed to happen "off screen" in the FQ and is left to fan imagination. I wonder about something else ... Most of the time he lived during that time period. And he is a descendant of Rainsong - he should have recognized, shouldn't he? And his offspring(s) should have, too. I want to know if there are living offsprings - I want them to be there. *eyes Shashen from NB#25* He could be Bowki's son. Or grandson. Yup. *me can make up my own stories too* ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| I honestly thought they don't bring him up was because he's partly a Sun villager... Who's Shashen? ___________________________________________________ 'We're all broken, in different ways, in varying degrees.'

| They don't bring up ... What? Typo? Something missing? I don't get it ...
A Jackwolfrider.
Yes, I know things needn't always be connected. ^^ But it's fun to speculate and play at times. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| "Bow-ki" is an interesting name. He might have been named "bow" for his Wolfrider heritage (like Dart, Lance, Pike, Cutter.) Maybe "ki" is an Elf word. ___________________________________________________ | |

| I think it's from Geoki, Dart's old friend. And of course Trueflight - Strongbow - Dart - Bowki.
Naaah... I don't think either Silver or Shashen are Bowki. However, Shashen - the brownhaired one - could very well be a descendant. ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game!

| Bow - a name in the tradition of this family. Good observation, Trollbabe. An ending to honor his human friend Geo-ki ... nice touch, Redhead. I can easily make this my head canon. And - I see the author now: "How to name this new bow-kid?" XD Ummmh... nobody talked about Shashan being Bowki. I've speculated about Shashen being Bowiki's son ... grandson ... or great***grandson (considering him being called cubling by Windstone). ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| Also, isn't it pretty much stated that Shashen was named in honour of Shushen? ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game! | |

| I never thought of the "ki" in Bowki could come from Geoki. That is very sweet. ___________________________________________________ | |
