Don't worry about the spider that sometimes follows you around, or the mysteriously changing cursors. Or even the bats raining down on the home page. I'm sure it will all be over soon.

It's nice, and whimsical, but maybe keep it for Halloween itself and not so early?

The reason its like this now is this.
Last year we ignored all of our American Brothers' and Sisters' holidays and special days because we Europeans don't celebrate them. No fuss was made and maybe a single thread was opened quietly to say "happy American thing" to each other. I thought it would be nice if we Europeans were a bit more open to Halloween since its not just an American thing and its not a religious thing. Its for two weeks, not until the end of time and the apocalypse didn't happen because there are occasionally bats.

Hey, two weeks of spooky bats is getting off easy! In Canada Halloween decorations have been on sale since mid July.
Not that I'm complaining TOO much, I love Halloween... just... after September 1st.

Love Halloween. Two weeks is perfect for the new critters. Come November Thanksgiving or as some here in the states say turkey day. Christmas is just around the corner after that.

I'm just sensing one tiny mistake with this: The Moon Decoration only has one moon.

Damn Halloween-maniacs!... Seen from France, it's ridiculous. Funny, but ridiculous.

All Hallow's Eve, the eve of All Saint's Day, is technically a Roman Catholic holiday. It coincides with the Gaelic festival Samhain. Hallowe'en is followed by All Saint's Day, on which Roman Catholics remember departed loved ones. In Mexico, this is called the Day of the Dead.
Carving Jack-O-Lanterns may have originated in Ireland or Scotland. Trick-or-Treating resembles part of the celebration of Guy Faulks Day in early November.
Thus, even if our Halloween traditions are peculiar to Americans, we can't claim the holiday as our own invention.

This had to be added. Thank you for the dearth of bats by the way.
