| For months I've been telling everyone I don't draw anymore, don't want to. Maybe I just needed to complain to enough people. Inspiration is back! Here is my website: oloyolol.blogspot.fr Paintings and squetches mostly, links to other things at the top. The painting at the top is the one I'm working on at the moment (only a first draft). No elf in it, but the idea comes from some daydreams I've had about elves in a dark city so it's a little thanks to EQ. Now I'm happy joy joy cactus!!! | |

| I'm so happy your creativity and inspiration for paintings is back, Miscellaneous. Keep the joy! To my own surprise I still understand enough French to basically get your comments - hardly to full extend, tho. Makes it easier to tell what I see ... or believe to see in your drawings. L'homme de neige ... this snow man is like an illustration for a different kind of Christmas story for me. It has this mood, with night forest and snow and stars, and while the white figure looks eerie the painting has a calm, not frightening vibe. the unfinished one ... in this state I see clouds above water and dawn - or dusk? - falling in on the wings of giant birds. Whereever it was supposed to go - it works for me how it is. You've made tiffany / glass pictures? Interesting playing with flowing light. L'arbre ensoleillé ... the tree is alive. I mean - alive like a human being. And it wants to escape ... or tries to tell me something. I can see him gesticulate and almost hear him shout. Those "leaves of light" are fascinating as is the reflection in the soft ripples of water. Le signal ... the blue color and deep cliffs - the landscape is like a deep calm ocean for me. I can see corals and fish ... and I recognize the figure on the right. So - it's more a mountainside? Or something in-between ... a dreamscape. It's facsinating for me to see the developement, with the iridescent fog floating in (or is it a spawning under water?) and the turbulent sky. The final one could easily be a dream journey in a newborn galaxy. Huiles rapides - the upper one is a tunnel, entered with doubt and fear, - leading to freedom and joy. Devant la Forêt Noire ... the tree line in the drawing is like a defiant hostile wall! Don't leave the way ... but this figure seems to look for something inside. Once again - I love to see the steps of developement in the painting. Starting out threatening, with a black, hopelessly destroyed ground and burning sky. Once again fog starts to cover the depths ... and the lights begin to soften the sky and the landscape. Finally it's another enchanted land - inviting me to discover its promises and some dark secrets as well. The fire factory - one more WIP. It's incredible to see how it starts out as a rough form, a sketch in oil and wins detail and life in the process. The whole pictures seems to change - artwise and mood-wise. I love those hopefully dancing lights and reflections on the water. Okay ... I might have brabbled a lot of nonsens ... but that was what comes to my mind and I was in the mood to share. I wish you lots of inspiration and joyful content with your art, Miscellaneous. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| Rooooh! Thank you, I'm glad you were in the mood to share The snow man. I liked this one until I realized what it was about, to me: a girl who prefers to give life to someone she creates than live herself. But I still like the Christmas tale mood, glad you do too. - Quote :

Yes! I used to have it on my wall, until I started thinking it looked like a flayed man... - Quote :

She's looking for the way in, she wants to cross the dark place and meet the monsters here - Quote :

Very true: I can't paint without being linked to what I fell inside, so it follows my moods. I was to sulky to paint for a while and ended up compromising with myself: I can paint if I tell myself those landscapes are on other planets! A bit silly but it works... | |

| Glad you liked to get a glimpse what someone else might see in your paintings. And it is interesting to learn about your own thougts and intentions, Miscellaneous. When it works - it WORKS! Alien planet or dreamscape - they are intriguing. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| That monster is adorable! What a cute and clever idea. I also clicked through a bit on the blog, and all I can say is WOW. Your paintings are so evocative! The mood and feel of them is just wonderful. I love how you convey several different feelings even though the color palettes are similar on some of them--despite that, they're very distinct. Thank you so much for sharing! | |

| Those past few days were rather weird and exhausting, that's what this little comics is about. I'm doing those comics where I speak of what's going on in myself, because I found it speaks to other more than when I try to make a story up. And it's liberating: the messier my life, the funnier the comics... https://olivarpente.wordpress.com/blog/ Here is what it says: 1 - I WANT TO DO BIG PAINTINGS! Those boxes are interfering with my freedom! 2 - I need to get out of here, I'm gonna live in an artist's squat! - He scares me when he's like that. 3 - Is there a full moon or what? - In three days... - Three more days of this? - We'll be dead before. 4 - I'VE GOT IT! I've called it Knitt-painting. 5 - I've finally found my place in the univers... 6 - I NEED A BIGGER LIFE! - Ok ok... But WE'd love to sleep a little bit at night... | |
