Was fun seeing what creativity emerged. But it definitely waned ... even as people here waned (not as many as there used to be). Many have migrated to other social media such as the Book Of Faces and such.

I never had an "end" planned for Stonehowl, when I wrote it; because it was always depending on what elements were suggested. But I feel like I should write some kind of ending for it. (Not that anyone cares, but to shut up the voices in my head, of characters who are upset their story never got finished) Very Happy

I miss those days too. I feel bad for not participating as much as I would have liked, and would like to hear (read) about what happens in Stonehowl!

I logged in tonight after poking around the draft print of some of the old stories I had... wow, almost 10 years ago. Theres a few missing, such as the end of Jink saves christmas, and as you said, the ghosts of the characters in some of the other story lines call out from time to time... poor snubnose (or was it wartfoot?) Is still wrapped in preserver wrapstuff awaiting his return... the vampires were left raiding Sarrow's End, I think... and theres a Troll Empire story that I never posted floating around somewhere waiting to be finished enough to post... part of me wants to add ont to Jink's story but I wonder if I could ever get back into that mindset (and wondering if I really want to, that was a really trying time in my life and that was the outlet for it)...

But I hope you do pick up the Pen again, if for no other reason than your own enjoyment. If you do amd post it, Ill read it.

I still do writing (not ElfQuest/Stonehowl related - mostly my own stories, or more specifically - a LOT of time is on the D&D games I run). But what was fun about the grab bags specifically was challenging myself with the items being presented as "grab bag" items to fit into a story. Stonehowl - as a result, is a bit chaotic if any sane person tried to read the stories back to back. And it's admittedly been so long since I've written - I'd need to look back and see who all the characters are (as ye said, some can easily get forgotten).

I know most here aren't into the writing side of things and that's why the grab bags eventually faded away.

Was mostly importing my book marks (got a new desktop a few months back after my Windows 7 machine died) - and led me back here again.
