Today we lost Jim Nabors at age 87. Nabors was well known for his role as Gomer Pyle USMC and the Andy Griffin Show. He also appeared in movies such The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982), Stroker Ace (1983) and, as "Pvt. Homer Lyle," Cannonball Run II (1984). Plus add his singing The Impossible Dream" from Man of la Mancha and Back Home in Indiana for the Indy 500. Nabors died at his home in Hawaii with his husband by his side.

May he rest in Peace.

A long life well spent. I didn't know he was farming in Hawaii, on top of his entertainment career.
