With the recent events and my long desire to get a fair representation of Trolls, may I be so bold as to ask for a list of Trolls to build threads from? Elves are welcome too, though they are not my forte.

Those who have at least a minimum of a story background:
Thuggop - from NB, pathfinder for of the Human raid of Sorrow's End
Redrash - from NB, the one who made Skywise's headgear
Stonehand - from Futurequest, a Palace dweller
the "Slaver" - from EQ Vol.2, held "Minnow", a Wavedancer, captive
Grudd - from BotC, met the Preservers
Shove, Oren, Dook - his luckier "buddies" ^^
...
"Mischiefmaker" - the "leader" of the rebellion against the Coneheads

Itchback - Icetroll, found fast end by elfin arrows

BTW, as far as I can recall, we see Two-Edge, Trinket and Drub as children. Other than that, it seems the Troll children are well-hidden.

So recently I have been collecting information to write about the history of the Trolls. I had thought the timeline was a little different than what I just noticed, having found my EQ collection tonight.

According to the timeline in the front of Wolfrider volume 1, Greymung and Guttlekraw formed their kingdoms over 8000 years before Fire and Flight.

Old maggoty is quoted as saying that she "fed Greymung his mush-moss when he was just a mump".

AND we see her among the trolls after the palace returns... 10000 years after Fire and Flight.

Doesnt that make her a MINIMUM of 18000 years old?

Additionally, it states that Two Edge was also born in the 2000 years after the palace crash (10000-8000 years before fire and flight), making him over 18000 years old as well.

I have some plotlines Im writing surrounding this, Im just wondering if this is accepted as an accurate account of their age and the pacing of the Trolls' history.

Which issue do you refer to? The "manga format"?

Well, it's on EQ.com so it's as official as it can be. Old Maggoty is definitely one of the oldest creatures living on Abode. 18000+ years ...

Means that Trolls have developed FAST ... most probably in less than 1000 years from small dwarf-like proto trolls to full sized Icetrolls!
Indicates a FAST breeding rate with many genereations ... - or the Palace aura sparked their change.

Well, had a nice post, but my phone ate it. If I feel like reconstructing it tomorrow Ill do so.

One thing it also meant: Winnie spent 18000 years picking on Two Edge.

I have a story Im working on involving the rapid change in the Trolls, I hope the official timeline doesnt throw a wrench in it. Thanks for verifying that for me!

Hmm ... yeah, Two-Edge picked back but when you take this EQ Vol. 2 story canon she ALWAYS won. Long time to suffer ... Sad

I'm looking forward to your story - whenever it will pop back in your mind, Hammer! Don't worry too much about timelines and contradictions. Remember: There are no inconsitencies! ^^ Razz
