I was cruising through Dragon Magazine (these are OLD!)... and in issue #66, I saw where they translated some of the characters (Cutter, Skywise, Leetah, Rayek and Picknose) to have 2nd Edition D&D "Monster Stats" (character stats might have been more useful, but still interesting).

Figured I'd share -

66 - ElfQuest - translated to 2nd Edition D&D. Dragon_66_02
66 - ElfQuest - translated to 2nd Edition D&D. Dragon_66_03

Thanks! That is a very interesting discovery. I knew of the EQ RPG but not of that "translation" to ADnD. But I'm also in the opinion that maybe people who were not too close to EQ did that translation. I mean, lawful good and chaotic neutral... nah. Also some values might be seen in different light by different people.
But thanks for posting.

I believe all of the Wolfriders, would probably be considered "Lawful Good."

They all followed "The Way" which was their law.

Picknose as Neutral fits - he didn't exactly follow King Greymug - he was out to make himself rich.

Rayek is the only one that seems only slightly off - but considered how self centered he was in the beginning, I'd say it's not too far off the mark.
