Fanfic and canon lists

If there is a thread like this somewhere, please post a link or PM me it and delete this thread.

Anyway, I was wondering if there was a list of fanfic tribes or if anyone would like to post up their favorite fanfic and canon info. Such as races, tribes, events, and so on. I found a little open source program I want to mod with EQ themes and it has more slots in it than basic canon races and whatnot. (Think RPG races and classes, opponents, quests, etc).

Just for fun. Also, if someone has an idea of a friendly place to post/share a downloadable program (zip file) I would appriciate it.

I have no idea and I am not fit in computer stuff managing, but I like this idea very very much and would appriciate it very much too. This seems to be a little bit like a Hero Forge / a doll maker thingie if I understood it right. cool!

That is interesting. My question is, do you just want to make "pictures" or "characters" into whole stories or also into our brainstorming elves? (I hope the google translator makes this understandable)
If you want to portray new races of elves, try Trollbabes Elfricans (black people as elves). I am sure she would be happy to see some.

Momentarily we tinker on an AU with a rough script. The Sun Valley elves (the Sun Folk turned into ancient egypt style) and Embalas Tidestrays (the Wolfriders turned into sea elves). If this is interesting for you.

I need to get off my duff and write the SeaGlade chronicles... I have most of the stories in my head, but they've never been put on paper.

Initially all Im doing is changing the config files for Progress Quest to be elfquest themed. Its a "zero player" game in that the user sets up their character, hits "sold" (as in 'Im sold on this idea, not as in buying the character, its all free), and the game starts. The game then automates all the "boring" grinding for experience and whatnot so you can focus on whats left...

Anyway, after a decade or so of trying to make an "Elfquest Fangame", and coming across this open source engine, initially I figure it would be fun to just swap out the themic elements from spoofy general fantasy adventure theme to all Elfquest theme. It has no graphics to worry about tieing things up forever, the thing taking up the most time is finding the old posts about the Elfquest language word roots (ala Jeremy Head on the old EQ forums (that indicate I have the zip somewhere on the language if I can find it), and finding additional content (like various tribes/races) to fill it with. I have some time tomorrow and can add the ones above if its ok with you all.

Anyway, thats the inspiration for the thread, but I figured if people want to collaborate a list for others to play with, it might be helpful, fun, and advertize your work.

(FYI, if the initial "play around with the game engine" works well, I hope to add back in some interactivity and see where it goes, as long as I dont squirrel myself off on tackling so much I lose interest again).

Anyway, as to the lists, post away, Ill try to accumulate your tribes and others I find above on the first post at top when I have battery and time on a mouse/keyboard computer. (Cutting and pasting and formatting between posts is a royal pain on a dieing phone. Lol)

@Yeee: mostly for brainstorming, but if there is a thumbnail example desired to be added, it shouldnt be a problem, as well as links to threads or websites where the tribe "lives", if you like. (IE Tymber's howling rock elves)
