| Cold. Got down to about 29 degrees last night here where I live. This is the earliest I have seen low temps like this, usually happens in January. But then again I still hadn't turned on the heater by this time last year, it been on for nearly 3 wks now. | Compared to you guys, we are dry as a bone... That said, compared to the last year, we're as wet as you guys... That said, Im nearly up to my ankles in mud feeding the horse, cant tell the ground from the sky due to (as I call it) "halloween fog", have one nearby hill completely covered in fresh snow down below our elevation, but all the 6"thick ice from a few weeks ago has melted around the house (and 50F weather at 8pm last night)... and we have a hurricane-looking spirally thing hitting the coast today. Oh, and we have had up to 70mph winds here and there blowing stuff around, and just had about half a mile of a major highway wash out yesterday. So while its no devistating weather like over there, its crazy for around here.  (though while looking for a picture I found washouts for that section of road for 2013 and 2014 too... so not all that odd I guess). | |
