Beloved music from a movie that I highly recommend. it is very seabirdy, and very Mer:
I would rather set the original version of "dear father" from the film here (Neil Diamonds voice raise when he sings "he`s gone ..." when the gull starts to fly off the raft), but unfortunately I can't find it. Whoever should find it, please send me. this part is so very touching and part of my Merelf-head -cinema (can only replay it in my memory) , I miss it so much.
the middle part is a little bit annoying , sorry found only this version of the reprise "dear father" theme.
loves this too.
Yeee

::looks closely at Myles:: That video gave us several nice refraction shots there and not surprisingly she seems to be a Yellow-group. She even MOVES like one.

An incredible voice!
One of the rarest songs I can hear in loop.
Mississippi in the middle of a dry spell Jimmy Rogers on the Victrola up high Mama's dancin' with baby on her shoulder The sun is settin' like molasses in the sky The boy could sing, knew how to move, everything
Always wanting more, he'd leave you longing for
Black velvet and that little boy's smile Black velvet with that slow southern style A new religion that'll bring ya to your knees Black velvet if you please
Up in Memphis the music's like a heatwave White lightning, bound to drive you wild Mama's baby's in the heart of every school girl "Love me tender" leaves 'em cryin' in the aisle The way he moved, it was a sin, so sweet and true Always wanting more, he'd leave you longing for
Black velvet and that little boy's smile Black velvet with that slow southern style A new religion that'll bring ya to your knees Black velvet if you please
Every word of every song that he sang was for you In a flash he was gone, it happened so soon, what could You do?
Black velvet and that little boy's smile Black velvet with that slow southern style A new religion that'll bring ya to your knees Black velvet if you please
Black velvet and that little boy's smile Black velvet with that slow southern style A new religion that'll bring ya to your knees Black velvet if you please If you please, if you please, if you please
( even whistling softly along, here.. )
( why.. even my hands dance, with it! )
( and yeah: I'm missing Scarlettdoll, here, so y'all know it.. )
Found this today in the radio, but the vocals (text) are bullshit (man searching for cheap excuses to get rid of his partner- gah! but read it, if you like), so i searched the version without singing. I love the sound , the clicking, rythm and whatnot.
