- Everyone can look and guess - lurking silently or post guesses.

Hmm... white fur... reminds me of Timmain or skywise
The colors almost could represent the first three chiefs (yellow for Timmorn, orange for Rahnee, and red for two spear, but that diesnt fit the clues...

I see the dreamberries and see how that keys into memory, but not sure how yet... Dreamberries were a relatively recent development, only a generation or two before Bearclaw... hmmmm.... *is thinking*

That one is tricker... five in what looks like a father tree reference, "aiming", "protecting"... im guessing Strongbow might be one, which would make moonshade a possible second... and maybe Dart as another... with the heritage of projectile continu8ng into the sun village where I lose the trail if Im even thinking right...

woohoo Egg hunt!

My theory (copying from the original SoC) on the first nest:

For the Circle nest... I propose Savah is accompanied by Cutter, Ember, Venka, Snakeskin, Petalwing, Picknose, AngrifDjun...
Then Door, Aurek, Aroree or Windkin (someone to represent the gliders!).

No theories on the daily ones so far, no time to think on them so far.

The lighting, moss, and the general feel says "Trolls" to me... Im not sure, though, which combo it is... I feel like Picky for sure (he helped them, harmed them, and hid them)... but outside of maybe Old Maggoty there arent really any trolls that did the same...

Still, with the small one and lineage as clues Im going to just throw out Picky, Oddbit and Trinket.

Trinket wasnt around for the help/harm part of fire and flight (unless trolls have a REALLY long gestation period), so an alternwte might be old maggoty instead of trinket (with oddbit being the smaller)

I suppose the long shot would be the lineage of kings through the Trolls... King Guttlekraw (standing in to hurt all elves), King Greymung (who "helped" the wolfriders into their journey to sorrows end), and King Picknose (who hid the wolfriders while they slept)...?

I like that theory a lot too.

It's too bad we don't have any character threads to hunt for the separate eggs.
That just means we'll have to discuss every single character a bit in the coming year so we can have an oldfashioned hunt next year tho!

No Wavedancers either, G0lden. It's a more spectacular chance that happened only four times (as far as we know for the moment). And I've decided to stick with the females involved.

Oh my word... "Changed... to harm... to help... to hide"

Uhh... Reef, Tyldak, and Shenshen.

All *shapechanged*. Though Tyldak's position could be taken, I suppose, by the one guy who's name escapes me but his mother is Newstar and he shapes himself into a wolf. Mostly because that's the "to help" position. Other possibilities include Sunfish, though Sunfish also gets an honorary nomination for the "to harm" position because of the stinging fins.

But the ONLY possible answer for someone changed to *hide* is going to be Shenshen. Unless I'm missing something dramatically obvious.

Edit: Damnit, no Wavedancers... other Shapechanged include Timmain, Winnowill (though she skirts the boundary of "No Wavedancers"), and I suppose Sunfish still fits because he's not *really* a Wavedancer... for all that his lifemate and daughter are.

I like your Reef-Tyldak-Shenshen thought, Grizz ... it could have worked. But I have a much closer connection in mind! Shenshen is the key!

Timmain... Haken... and Shen Shen - it would work too, Kojiyumi ... if it were only about change. But it's a special kind of change ... very similar.

So who'll get the 10 points? Wink
