How do you feel?

I understand exactly where your coming from IceTooth, I am often frustrated by how much other people share on Facebook. For me facebook is a tool that I use to share important information with people I don't see very often. It's the messaging that really gets to me though because I don't message people unless is important, "what time are we meeting?"and other such stuff. I rarely chat to chat and I tell people that. Yet still I have friends who don't really care for me anymore because I never message them or I don't respond to their messages within five minutes. Facebook is a tool, that is how I feel.

School shooting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Two dead, no children involved. Is this the way the world is going to be from now on? We solve all of our problems with guns, bombs and other weapons?

Sad - and angry. Too many terrible things happening in the World, and unfortunately most of them man-made.

Facebook deactivated my FB account, without any warning or motive.

tipsy ... but it's town fair week - so it's allowed for one night ... ^^

Kinda stupid and stuck in my head. Was surprised today when the cute girl who works at my favorite produce shop actually said hello to me and used my first name. I mean it's so weird...I only told her my name once like 7 or 8 months ago and she's never used it before that I can recall.

Been getting to know this girl over the last year or two...first time I wasn't single...then I was dealing with the aftermath of my soul draining breakup that I needed a long time to recover from. She's only there seasonally so I've only recently seen her back working again.

She seems very sweet...but I don't know much about her. All I know is she's in a different place in her life than I am and I really don't want to date another person where that happens again. So I tell myself, no no Mr. IceTooth, this isn't the right girl for you...you are NOT going to ask her out so stop thinking about it!!!

Then I see her dressed so casually yet so perfect today and she's so sweet and friendly. Makes direct eye contact, always seems to want to get to know me a little better. Okay maybe she's just friendly and I'm seeing too much into this...but she seems to drop hints...like saying she saw me walking with a lady the other day. Kinda felt like hey, are you single? I told her it is my neighbor that I go walking with...erm...again, already told myself don't want to go there.

But damn it all...she's so darn pretty! She honestly looks a little like Leetah, yes that pretty! So slender, toned and wow...more like a dark skinned Dewshine now that I think about it. I think and wonder she must be around 10 years younger than me...what would such a beautiful younger woman see in a 42 year old salt and peppery haired old Jewish guy like me?

Did I ever mention that I tend to over analyze everything?

With my company firing people left and I right I just don't feel like I have any stability in my life right now. But then I think, what the hell, JUST ASK HER OUT!

At least that way, I will no longer wonder. Hopefully she has a boyfriend and this will all be done with...but then what if she says yes?

I just had a wonderful two days with a friend I haven't seen in 9 months. We met at a Christian summer camp where we both worked last summer and he just spent the past three months in marine boot camp.

I am so happy that he was able to visit, but I am exhausted because I did not get enough sleep these past few nights.

Brave. We bought lumber. Next, to conquer the ladder.

Yuck.  My head hurts and my throat feels a bit raw from having to talk to people all day long.  Plus the air quality is still bad because of the last heat wave.  One more day and two days off.  Thank God.

I hope those days give you the time to get better G0lden.

Relieved and a lot lighter then I have been feeling for a long time. I posted on here a few months back about how I had a falling out with a good friend. She called me some names and I didn't know why. A week ago she came up to me and finally told me why she had felt that way and apologized for what she had said and for bottling up how she had felt.

Turns out it all had to do with me dating and then breaking up with her brother. It only lasted a few months and I broke it off gently because I knew he really, really liked me. Apparently I killed his faith in humanity.... but not worries hes trying to get to know someone else in my church now...

Not coughing as much today, but still feel like blah.
