Just got my ears repierced a few hours ago. Didn't cry or nuffin-- but didn't get a sweetie for being a good girl! Harrumph...

As most of us know, grief is funny stuff. I didn't realize it at the time, but after Mom died, I completely stopped wearing jewelry for quite a while. By the time I became conscious of this and had recovered enough to start wearing pretties again, all of my earring holes had completely closed up (just call me Wolverine, lol). Got tired of trying to reintroduce earrings on my own (that's not nearly as tolerable as it is when you're 17), and finally paid a professional to shoot four chunks of metal through my flesh. They're very sparkly!

I understand about grief. Trying to get myself back into sewing after Mom died sixteen years ago.

Trying to colour Pyre and figuring out what his colour scheme is.

Wondering how similar the old alien race (were they just called Pearls?) from Valérian et Laureline movie is to the Wavedancers.

Wondering how my second date with the new lady will go tomorrow. Pursuing two women in the same month is unusual for me...but after licking my wounds from the last attempt suddenly a new person steps into my life and I must say, she is quite attractive and intriguing.

Got my nice shoes, slacks and dress shirt ready to go...and after work tomorrow these nice duds along with a good shave, a little cologne and doing my hair will transform me from the slobby tech guy into Mr. Fancypants for a night on the town! Yee ha! I do love dressing up sometimes at work and seeing the look on everyone's faces with comments like "wow, you sure clean up nice!", tee hee!

And the strange part...there may even be a third one in the mix. Being the dolt I am about women most of the time...I told my friend the story that last weekend when I was out picking berries in the hot sun I asked this beautiful lady working at the farm if I had any sunburn. The next thing I know she is massaging my neck with a smile and says "hmm, I don't see any, but you might turn red later!"...which caught me totally off guard.

I mean hey, perhaps she just caresses random men because she's friendly or something...but it surely seemed like she was trying to catch my attention...had I not been so distracted by the new lady I just met the night before I would've probably talked to her more.

So...back to the berry farm I will go...and perhaps I will see her again. I have to at least find out her name...

Trying to write Beyond having a conversation with Weaver-of-Shadows and it's...challenging because Beyond can't stand Weaver and is really aggressive passionate bickering with her and Weaver just flirts aggressively with him.

And Beyond just can't handle it.

Looking at a drawing I just made and wondering if I just made the most ridiculous wolfrider.
I mean, he looks ok, but I wonder if he lost a bet with someone and he now has to wear a really weird hat.
