| As of tomorrow evening, my Trollmate has been hospitalized for a month. Like a player in a game, he has moved from the ER to the cardiac ward to the ICU to a general room to a rehab unit. He is off of oxygen and undergoing physical and mental therapy.
We're not sure what happened, but the last diagnosis was bleeding on the brain. Once he is released, we hope to see one of his doctors and go over the phone-book-sized medical records of this whole event involving multiple organs.
We haven't been apart this long since he was in the Naval Reserves in the early eighties. I expect him to be home any day now. ___________________________________________________  | |

| Hubby made it home on Monday afternoon. On Tuesday afternoon I came home from the pharmacy (chemist) with most of his new prescriptions. He was on the floor, where he had vomited and passed out. I called 911 and he is now back in the hospital.  ___________________________________________________ | |

| Sending positive thoughts to my friend "Perpetually Pregnant" Lauren. She has 4 children under the age of 8, hence the nickname, lol.
On Saturday she was out with her husband for a rare night off from the kids. While she was out with her husband, some lowlife spiked her drink. She ended up passing out in the bathroom and hitting her head pretty hard, so she was taken to hospital in an ambulance. She had a severe concussion and just to make sure she had no bleeding on her brain, they did a CT scan.
Good news is, there was no bleed. Bad news is, they found a 3cm long tumour in her brain. She would never have known about it as she had no symptoms at all, not even a headache. She's understandably terrified, for her and her family. Her 3rd child just celebrated her 4th birthday today.

| My husband had a brief hospital stay the first week of January, but he has been home since.
He had cataract surgery this month, which has restored full vision to his right eye. Specialists are giving good reports on his heart, kidneys and digestive system. He has not been in serious pain for weeks.
Earlier this month, we both had really bad colds. A couple of times I dragged myself out of bed, put on a bathrobe and went outside to a patch of weeds under a cedar tree. Avoiding any that had bird poop on it, I pulled up a handful of purple dead nettle and ate it. I believe it helped. I hope the neighbors didn't see me.
