| Well I had a good Drs. appt. Did another ekg and lab work. Now to get a new baseline for the echo cardiogram. See the surgeon next week. Dr. says I look good too, said most of his patients look pasty after surgery and I didn't. As for my wee one, after spending 12 hours at the Sick Kids ER... she has now bounced back and we're feeding her as much high-octane food as we can get in her to help her gain back the weight she lost. | |

| So far, 128 people were killed, 250 wounded. "kamikaze"-bombings at the France Stadium ( there was a France-Germany soccer match! ) that killed less than ten people, if I heard well ; scores were killed or wounded at the terraces of many cafés ( 10th and 11th district of Paris ) ; most were killed ( shot or hit by grenades ) in the notorious "Bataclan" place ( that held more than 1,000 people when the slaughter started!... ) Luckily I was nowhere near that. | Heard news of a former co-worker, a very nice man. Two and a half years ago, the boss let him give me a ride home when I wasn't well. Soon turned out to be a life-threatening illness, and my husband took me to the ER. When I got home from the hospital, I was in bed for days. This same co-worker brought us a couple of prepared meals, so my husband would get a break from cooking while he cared for me.
Co-worker retired soon afterward, as work was getting to be too much for his heart. His wife is disabled, so I am sure he had his hands full at home.
From what I heard today, his son died suddenly. The son left behind a wife and two young kids, both autistic. I do not know how this family is going to cope.
