*Hugs Embala*
Wish I dared to be as bold, Startear, but here we've had surprice of snow for a week. I Guess it will start snowing again if I put them away.

Happy that the new comp works ... and still puzzled and anxious about the changes that come with it.

Just got back from the gym. When I do the elliptical, I've historically just done it for :30. The machine defaulted to :60, and I thought "Aight, fine-- bring it on!" Kept to a gentler, more sustainable pace than usual as a result, and spanked that mutha for the full hour. Currently feeling pretty good/ that I accomplished something, too. Maybe the wisdom that comes with middle age (supposedly! lol) is starting to manifest...

*wails* I want my old nice and comfy picture editing program back!
Well... I won't get it back ... and the current substitute ist unsufficiant.

Get some quality rest, Kin. *hugs* Whatever "haunts" you this way will hopefully be done for good.

Feeling good. Nice warm and sunny here. I'll get to go shopping for garden furniture this season, but for now am happily reading Alternaverse in a camping folding chair in our garden. And tomorrow my family will come and visit and we'll have a bbq. And yesterday the in-laws visited and it was lovely.

Thank you everyone ^_^
Not so much haunted, Embala. Just soooooooo much to be done lately. I worked on multiple craft projects for a bridal shower I was helping with. At the same time an emergency with my son's bearded dragon that sent us to a vet over an hour and a half away. Trying to get my garden planted in time before the massive cicada swarm erupts in the next week or two. In-between working the 2 jobs and trying to schedule a day to do senior pictures for a friend of the family.
The bridal shower was today tho, so that whole fiasco is finally over now!

Hehe, glad that worked out. It's never easty to plan such great events. And I know how time can 'haunt' you, when there's not enough of it. Have the same feeling myself. So much to do, and not enough time. Maybe I need a vacation.
Feels good as we've finished at least half of our garden projects, so now just hope for sunny weather in a while ahead to paint. And feeling happy it's blossoming all over

Feelings tired but happy. Had the family over for a bbq, it was very nice and relaxed and we had great fun. We all got completely stuffed lol, and I had a great time also snuggling with my now 3-month old nephew.
Now everything has been cleared off again, we are relaxing again.

Glad you had a great family day, faeriegirl.
Feel tired ans slow, I love getting early up in the morning and all, but 5:am is a bit early, but that's when the sun glimpses in through my window now, and the curtains don't do their job keeping it out, and then waking me up before I have to.

I'm once more feeling tired but happy. Had a great but very exhausting workout, am now chilling with dinner and looking forward to a hot bath later.

Think about getting a nightmask/sleeping mask. I always use mine, mostly out of habit, but mainly as I'm very sensitive to light. You can get one for about 100 kr at handysize, but I have seen them for sale at other stores, like HM and Monki. Sure, you'll still deal with the heat on you, but you don't have the light waking you up at ungodly hours.
I'm angry, tired and kind of upset. I gt rejected from the job I applied to after going to the interview two weeks ago. I did really well at the interview, but it wasn't enough I guess.
Thanks to Embala for the lovely banner! The quote belongs to Scooter.

Pretty chill. Was a bit sad-face earlier, wanted to eat a sun-lolly, but it hadn't frozen. So I just ate an ice-cream "stick" instead.
(Still want my sun-lolly, though...)

*hugs* I'm so sorry for your bad luck with this job, Startear.
I don't know about this company or the reasons for your rejection. But what I know from my job is: The reason are pretty often not in the appliant, his/her knowledge, competences and personal skills. You can be as good as any co-appliant, even better - and get rejected because you are ... in example from the wrong hometown. Reasons you would never guess.
This is frustrating because you will hardly get to know the (real) reason of the rejection. Stay angry if it helps you but please don't start to doubt yourself because of a rejection. Don't think you did not enough, don't think you were not good enough. There are many reasons for a "no fit" you cannot influence at all.
Good luck for the next time, Startear. *crossing fingers and toes*

Thank you, Embala. Don't worry, what I'm angry about is that I had to pry the answer out of them when they promised to contact me regardless of the answer. Not myself.
I'm tired. I want to sleep. And draw. I have to choose.

Hope you feel better, Red.
Yeah Startear, I have thought of a sleeping mask, although it's the heat from one of those. I was sweating so much from one I tried, it was syntetic. Wonder if they have one anywhere in organic fabric

My throat is feeling (somewhat) better. But my nose's been running a marathon all day...
