| Ahh... you know, as a child, i was made fun of for being able to see more colors than other males thought allowable.
Now that i realize how sacred and rare this gift is i just laugh at them... or perhaps pity them for having to live in EGA graphics world.

| Dad was a petroleum engineer and I think I inherited part of his love of rocks. As a child I always liked to sit on the ground and play with rocks. Thank you for sharing these pictures.

| Double... blue??
Are either the red or green cone missing?
That might be even more interesting than me having way too many connections in the V-fields causing me to be able to partially perceive the yellow value. Creating extra connections probably didnt help, lol.
This is also related to excellent low-light vision as well, and i wonder if the TRPV1 receptors on the cornea factor in as well.
And now everyone knows what the 4 jars and the owl are about...

| That sounds good. Maybe you can also train to stay a little bit calmer if something upsets you terribly. You seem to suffer very hard. Most things are not worth so much stress.
I hope my words are clear and do not lead to misunderstandings , I am no native speaker.

| Well, Yee, i had fallen for a vicious form of propaganda in which totally crazy extremist points are written, youre made to feel like complete and utter scum if you disagree with them, and its all designed to make truly evil ideologies seem like a better alternative than progress.
Im sorry. In this, i have failed to be what i was meant to be, or to do my part in correcting the course of things before it got to this point. I hope that colorful diagram helps somehow... if it leads to the enlightenment of anyone, thats less karma on me i guess.

And now... for the wild side.
As you may have guessed, my father actually IS a Manjushri archetype. Police, now retired. Was actually elected chief of a small town. Grew up around German Shepherds, often woke up being licked in the face by these huge wolf-like doggies.
And much like a Hanse Davion, or a Duke Leto, he taught me combat and tactics. Unfortunately its still hard for him to understand that i am something else. He reccommends i take up Historical European Martial Arts: i tell him i cant make it because i was too busy making soap like The Sorcerer's Apprentice...
and its hard to sleep at night.
But here you go, heres the Battletech collection from 25 years ago. Those big blocky mecha sure hod up better than Warhammer figures, those are coming up next after i glue them back together....
i mean, they sure make some gorgeous and intricate Eldar figures but theyre really fragile. Especially the Swooping Hawks.

| Impressive army! You must have had lots of fun collecting those, Soran ... or was it even collecting and painting, building and painting them? ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| Yep, all of the above, at much cost. 1) Swooping Hawk aspect warriors, a flying/jetpack unit. Yes, in game, they are often painted in this color scheme, and yes, theres 8 of them. 2) Avatar of the Eldar war deity Kaela Mensha Khaine. Looks nasty but isnt really as effective as it was in earlier editions, much like a lot of Eldar equipment. 3) Fire Dragon aspects, an anti-armor unit 4) Wraithguards. These guardian machines are actually operated by a soul within a shard, and guided by the Seer on the left. There are larger versions i need to finish repairing. 5) A Seer Council, a favored HQ option of the Ulthwe craftworld. They sit back there and cast spells all day to great effect 6) Dark Reapers, who use missile launchers and do a pretty good job against powered armor 7) Warp Spiders, a teleporting close combat unit Rangers/Pathfinders, a sniper unit that in previous editions gave Alaitoc craftworld the ability to disable enemy units before they even got to battle. And theres my general, in front there... 9) Harlequins, a nearly impossible to hit assassin unit that does religious dramas in their off time 10) Falcon grav tank. I once had a dream i was in one of these, pulled down the targeting display and saw the order screen from the Sonic's i was working at... 11) Vyper jetbikes, a very useful flying heavy weapons platform. Preferably armed with the bright lance (laser cannon) and flown into enemy side arc. 12) War Walkers, a flexible unit commonly given twin scatter lasers 13) Lt. Cmdr. Goldruff's heavy infantry | |

| The best way to handle the demonic insectoids known as "Tyranids" in Warhammer are weapons that provide massed fire to handle the hordes of Genestealers, Lictors, and whatever new bug they mutated this week that are headed your way.
For Eldar... this means the scatter laser, Dire Avengers, and Swooping Hawks. This tends also to work against other mass armies such as the Imperial Guard but with those guys you must watch out for the tanks as well.
Unlike some other things ive been thinking of, this game actually has problematic aspects: it is unapologetic about portraying humans as nasty, genocidal fascists - possibly because the whole game milieu is partly based in Lovecraftian cosmic horror and so the whole universe is terrible and dark all the time.
However, this tends to attract certain kinds of gamers, especially here in America, who are unironic lovers of the Imperium.
Thus, one of the many reasons i am an Eldar player. I generally love taking down whatever the Imperium drafted today, watching as the so-called holy army of the Emperor gets reduced to scrap by a bunch of elves.....

| Getting some items from the grocery store has been a exercise in treasure hunting. At least I got plenty of food fr the next 3 wks or so. Playing Elvenar and Mahjong with a passion to to pass the time. Now to get a couple of things finished and see if I can get my echo cardiogram done before May. Well I need to make sure I can make the appt., my Drs. appt is in May, if they don't cancel it. Binge watching Emergency and Numb3rs too.

| Beryl, i just need another box. Not selling the army. Its too much fun being able to poke holes in the army of some Imperial wannabe IRL.
Since the game is British, i have to wonder: Has anyone ever cracked the joke that the Imperial Guard versus Eldar is "Arsenal vs. Crystal Palace"?
