| Hi, I've been trying my hand at coloring line-arts and thought I'd share them here I'm still a beginner so tips and advice are welcome! (Don't look at the underside lol, I realize I could've put a gradient there)
All works: - Spoiler:

| I love your Ember, Zinegirl. The intensity works well with the firehead! One-Eye is a true wood spirit. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| Just a beginner... lol... I've dabbled off and on with coloring line art... keep finding better ways to do it... but you're already miles ahead of my latest efforts. That Ember is absolutely stunning. 101% looks professionally done. ___________________________________________________ Signature image by Embala. <3 | |

| Thank you all for the compliments! I feel like I'm still a little bit too subtle in my shading and I'm still figuring out which brush settings would work better for this. I really admire the shading work of Wendy Pini's pastel stuff (like the Pin-up calendar or Hidden Years 1 to 5 - you might notice that I picked some of Ember's colors from there) but I don't know if that's something that can be replicated on a computer... ___________________________________________________ Previously known as Zinegirl | |

| A new one: not 100% satisfied with it yet so I might improve it later. I'm kinda in the dark on how to shade her hair, since it's so big and curly with barely any shadelines at all, so that's why I only did some subtle shading for now. ___________________________________________________ Previously known as Zinegirl | |

| And here's Redlance! his hair was a lot easier to do than Joyleaf's. Such a pity the original line-art picture is so small... ___________________________________________________ Previously known as Zinegirl | |

| That's a beautiful sketch just made for coloring! I love the soft hues on her cheeks and neck, Josine. Tyleet's mane has shades of fire - bright and soft at the same time. The purple suits her well. The darker hues enhance the effect of the pattern and make me think of a shady forest - just like her green eyes. Beautifully done. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| Colored this cute panel of Redlance in Dreamtime. Honestly the official coloring of Dreamtime is not very good imo ___________________________________________________ Previously known as Zinegirl | |

| The Carlsen coloring was sloppy at times ... and probably simplified in general. Your coloring is as lovely as the line art, Josine. I love the different hues of red in Redlance's mane. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

Redlance at his best! I think your coloring technique is perfect, Josine! It looks neat and professional. Besides I really love the cheerful, almost mischievous expression Wendy gave him here I love how you have given him so much warmth with the subtle hues you used. | |

| Yup, looks cute with the bright colors (reminds me a little bit of the first book)...and yes, I don`t like the coloring of the Dreamtime stories too. The pencil sketches are not made for dark colors, you can then no longer see any details.
