Once I asked for ideas of who to draw, and someone suggested Shushen. I wasn't really familiar with the character, but this is what I came up with.

I went with the thread titles from the original forum as often as possible. My aim was to honor those who put effort and passion in the building of the Scroll of Colors - much more than mirroring each new developement, confirmation or retcon. There are the official bios to do so ... enough for me. btw: I like "soulbrother" much better than the common "lifemate".

Of course if Startear opts for a change ...

Another one I didn't give proper attention - another rarely drawn character.

You've captured his attitude well ... this mix of belligerence and hubris is exactly how he was pictured in New Blood. The plain coloring mimics the original art - and the variations of light and shade make it better, Outlier. The enamal/gemstone necklace has a third dimension - it's not flat. Same for the hair ... few simple strokes give it shine and life. I love your Shushen.
