How tall was Ekuar in his prime?

I have always wanted to see a "police lineup" of several Elfquest characters, to compare heights.

The very first Trolls, from the Palace, would be shortest. The male High Ones would be tallest. Tyldak, Two-Edge, Sun-Fish, and various forms of Winnowill would stand out from their kin. You could compare Sunfolk Elves before and after the influence of the Palace.

Good question. He is a firstborn, so he should have been the hight like the Gliders, Savah etc... But because of his enslavement and torture his body seems to have shrunken, he isn't taller than Rayek.

I always supposed that he just never had the change of growing into an adult. So it's not that his body shrunk, it just never grew.

You are properly right. I just reread his story, and he says "young" a couple of times. In the pictures you can see, that one of them (properly Mekda?) is smaller, i.e. not fully grown. And in her bio it says that she, Ekuar and Osek are "age-mates".

Did Ekuar lose is hair to malnutrition, or to age? We know healers can restore hair, so if he wanted it back, he could get it. Probably he wouldfind it hard to maintain with his disabilities.

It would be difficult to stand out as chief of the Go-Backs or the Wolfriders without any hair.

I would bet both malnutrition and age. I also agree with Redhead Ember; Ekuar just plain never grew due to his life circumstances.
