shhhhhhh Had a long day? Had a crappy day and just need a place to sit quietly and go fleh? Come on in and plop yourself on a poofy thing
Poofy cushions, wine, owls, kittens, cakes, sea lions, wine, tiny fishes, marmosets, more wine, sandwiches and a tapir can all be found here. And other stuff too but I ran out of inspiration so bring your own comforty thing!

A bath filled of warm milk and honey, and a large straw.
Or, a tub of melted chocolate and a silver platter of strawberries nearby, along with a crystal flute of the best champagne.

There's a room upstairs. Inside? A bed. Big, white, fluffy pillows... clean, cotton sheets...a cool breeze from an open window. The distant sound of the surf. The rustle of wind in the trees. No television. Just a book and a lamp if you need it. (But you don't, because it's morning.. or late afternoon. Your pick.) And otherwise... the house is quiet.

Ok, it's quiet, but there's this one slutty, old purring cat with half-open eyes, perched on your lap, quietly, diligently kneading, or, as we sometimes call it, "Making biscuits", determined to calm you down and make your breath match its own

You contemplate quietly picking up the cat and removing it from you lap and depositing it's limp, purring form outside the door, which you then envision quietly shutting. You stroke the cat.

Mmm...peace and quiet. Last two days of little sleep...recovering from spending time with 6 cousins and all their beautiful, wonderful but so very noisy little cublings...and their spouses and friends. So much family, so much love...but so very crazy...
I'm floating on a soft, fluffy cloud over my favorite beach. The moon is shining over the water while some playful dolphins say hello...and some wonderful incense and relaxing fragrance lulls me to peace...mmm....zzzz....happy...

(quietly comes in, sets up a blanket fort with as little noise as possible, stealthily stocks it with coloring books and colored pencils, more cushions and fluffy rugs, and snacks and drinks, then creeps back out, leaving the EBF -Emergency Blanket Fort- for whoever needs it)
(comes back in five minutes later to claim a spot in the EBF because July and August are providing more emotional whiplash for me, my family, and several of my friends than I'd like.)
