Actor Adam West has passed at age of 88. West lost his very short battle with leukemia. West is best known as Batman and was the Mayor in the series Family Guy. No more Batusi. Rest in peace and give the bad guys some grief.

When I read about how he died, I wondered if he made the same choice my father made, not to pursue aggressive cancer treatment.
I never saw any of the live-action Batman movies from 1989 on, because I just didn't care for the darker portrayal. Adam West will always be live-action Batman to me. He didn't forget that Batman was a comic book character.
