Spoilers... meh... I know its for other people, but at this point Im so far behind and dont see a great chance of catching up, sooo...
On an aside thats sort of the same thing: is it just me or is the story pacing in the new series seem inflated? So far I have two issues (2 and 3 I think) and the little bit of story in them doesnt move much, and doesnt seem tk ba e as much detail as the old comics. I stopped reading Superman and stuff years ago because it seemed like I was spending $4 for 15 pages of advertizing to see superman get dressed, argue with lois a moment, and fly out the window... pretty boring, and for a buck more I could get an off road magazine with over a half hour worth of reading content. Maybe I just got the two slowest moving issues of FQ?

Well, for me it's not even the main *story*. Yeah, there's not much going on as far as actual *story*... but I just love the *details* going on in the background.
And one of those details is what's got me bouncing off the walls because it's what we, as the fans, have been begging for and yet it's NOT what we expected to see. We've got Wolf Elves. We've got Fish Elves. We've got Bird Elves. Well... as much as this WAS foreshadowed in ONE frame of the Original Quest (to my knowledge), I wasn't expecting to see it.
But I'm hyped and wondering what the elves would sing while marching on Isingard...
What IS the policy on spoilers? Not even *story* spoilers, just background detail ones that don't affect the plot... yet.

Well, shoot, Embala is handling the eggs, theres green ones... and blue ones... and orange ones... and yellow ones... and red ones... and brown ones... and speckely ones... and ones with faces on them... and ones without any faces at all! All ya gotta do is serve up the spam for Embala to add the eggs to! *hehehehe*
Just dont drop one, she worked hard on them, slaving away over a hot computer, battling RaWP monsters ripping the carpet out from under her (/us) and such... such delights should be cared for, and devoured with the eyes....

Chuckles. Oh Kin, you are a lot older than that! The sd dating system came about 1585 yrs ago. You were around a few thousand yrs before that. I am from a world that use the term yearvies for nearly 30 thousand yrs. until they adapted to the new sd dating system.

...that would put it around 12:20pm day after tomarrow... That explains a lot...
