Character look-alikes

This is about characters who look alike or have very similar features and build. The coloring doesn't have to match, they just have similarities. Such as...............................................................

Ruffel/Brownberry= very curvy characters who have round faces,upturned noses, even their outfits are similar.

Vaya/Foxfur= they have similar body types, dark brunette hair and outfits.

Strongbow/Rayek= they'd kill us for it, but both have similar faces,body types and long hair. They even have grumpy attitudes.

ShenShen/Rainsong= round bodies,round faces, directly related to healers.

Woodlock/Scouter= Their hair and outfits are similar, even have similar builds.

I noticed the redheaded GoBack female that Skywise "danced with" at the orgy had a resemblance to Ruffel and Brownberry.

Urda and Minyah are the plainest elf women I've ever seen, yet still have character.

Moonmirror and Newstar bare a passing resemblance in their long hair,willowy build and roundish face.

Tyleet,Korafey and Freetouch just about form a trinity of wild-haired women. Freetouch and Tyleet have similar faces as well.

Joyleaf has a more than a passing resemblance to her ancestress Goodtree.

I wonder if Eyes High and Rillfisher were sisters with that curly blonde hair.

Venka has similar face to Clearbrook and they both were the most level headed.

I bet the BotC-artist took Joyleaf as a cardboard for Goodtree - and exaggerated! XD
WP has drawn Goodtree almost willowy, especially in the "Greatest Moments" calendar.

Yeah, the Blood of Ten Chiefs art almost made Barry Blair look good in comparison.
Also I noticed that Grohmul Djun looked almost identical to Olbar the Mountain Tall. Which makes me wonder if there wasn't contact between the two continents well before Final Quest.

I miss Olabar ! He was such a great character.

Rillfisher looks like Rainsong. Joyleaf and Eyes High look alike.

I noticed Shukopek looks very similar to Little Patch which I doubt is coincidental since I consider Little Patch an ancestor of Shuna.
And Timmain and Savah could pass for twins with how similar their faces and builds are. For that matter, Spray looks like a sultry Savah
. Ekuar and SunToucher have similar weatherworn faces as well.
Aroree and Brill also are similar in face and build not to mention their wistfulness.
Krill/Krim are identical in hair and face, tho Krill has some restraint.

Okay ... all this discussions about Elves looking similar and that there is not enough "racial" variance starts to irk me.

Either I understand something very wrong in this discussion ... or some of my tribemates seem to forget something. Personall I wonder: WHY should elves show racetypical differences in features at all? When I look how they started ...

1. The Coneheads were next to androgynous clones - they probably stopped to show individual features uncount generations ago and forgotten about racetypical differences even longer.

2. When they decided to explore Abode closer they shaped their appearance after the beautified standardised imagination of possibly one "medival" culture on Abode.

3. There were how many generations of elves lived until EQ1? Going with the chiefs line - 10 for the Wolfriders give or take. Much less for the Gliders, definitely more for the Go-Backs ... still 20 generations in average from landing til Shards would be overestimated in my opinion. And most of them relied on recognition which is kind of a genetic optimization program.

4. How could they develop much differencies in build and features at all? Or even a race-typical / region typical look that has ressemblance with Earth?
There was no diversity in the genetic pool.
No field tests with mutations.
Not enough time.

5. Within the given context of the story it is highly logical that the different Elf groups take after each other very much.
