| Finished the cute children's book Along the Tapajos by Fernando Viela which was one of the free books and it's a cute intro to life on the Amazon river.

| On the TV show "Good Morning America" I saw an author named Emmanuel Acho pitching his new hardback, "Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man."
Yesterday I saw this book on sale at Wal-Mart, where I was buying groceries. Even at a discount, it was a tough decision for me to go ahead and pick it up.
I read it completely by this evening. It's based upon a series of YouTube videos, which I can only watch on public WiFi. I watched the first one during lunch at work.
This is a good contemporary book for anyone who wants to find solutions to racism. I would recommend it to white readers, and to black readers who need help explaining racism to white people. ___________________________________________________ | |
