| I am so tired. Taking two buses and having to keep my leg elevated in a chair at a odd angle wears me out. I at least am able to get up for 10 minutes every hour to stretch out my leg and walk on it.

| Please don't be sad, Embala. I don't know what kind of pretty thing you mean but my experience is that it can be freeing to get things out of the house that are annoying - as much as they claim to be beautiful or 'necessary'. I live minimalism and keep as little as possible. It comes with so many blessings. I hope you will find the right decision for the thing you talked about. <3

I feel stressed again. Got another commission. This time a painting on canvas, quite big as a wedding gift. Deadline is September, the 15th. Feeling happy about it but I just hope I can finish it in time. Unfortunately I have to postpone many of the Elfquest drawing ideas until then. *sobs*
My son just turned one which means I will work again soon... even less time :-( Sometimes I think about getting up at 5am in the mornings so I can paint while the kids are sleeping. At night I feel too exhausted lately and simply can't focus anymore. | |

My Mom did this "working in the morning when the kids are still sound asleep". She was a Frühaufsteher, and early bird anyway and it worked for her. In case you are a "shylark" too, this might work for you. *hug* I'm an "owl" ... would have never worked for me. ^^ Havin commissions and making money with your art is good. | Keep up with the art Em. Usually the prettiest thing you make you want to trash because of what took you to make.
Me, leg aches, the knee is the worst. I get to get up for ten minutes once an hr. What is the hardest is I sit in a small cubby and I have my leg up on a pillow that is on a armless chair. My left leg is in a perpendicular angle when I am on the phones, rather than more forward under the desk. I am literally in the middle of the isle.

Other than that just chillin. Can smell the smoke still from a grass fire note to far from us too.
