AU Art corner

In an alternative universe, there are some things departing from the canon...

Thanks to Vaeri for inspiring this topic in which the fate on any elf, human, troll or other being can be...changed.

So Vaeri had this idea of an AU where Winnowill is healed and cleansed of her darkness and she recognizes Rayek. They have a child. Here's my vision of this family:

Squeeeee!!!!! Oh how lovely! It looks fantastic Prayer, thank you! I'm so happy to finally see these two happy, and what a beautiful daughter they have!

I love how you harkened back to Winnowill's youthful innocence with flowers in her hair once more, but accentuated with stars for her new status as a palace dweller.

I shall have to wrack my brain for more happy AU's won't i?

Oh yes, I loved the picture of Winnie with the flowers in her hair...it looked very beautiful. And she was always yearning for the stars, right?

Right, it would be awesome if you could think of more AU settings! You ideas are GOLD .

Just to spark more ideas: Rayahn was my spontanous idea when I saw the happy family.
Or perhaps - Rayshen If my rusty Elvish is right this means "Child of Luck".

Glad you like it and thanks for these wonderful suggestions, Embala!    Though I am very fond of both of them, I favor 'Rayshen'.

We might need help from   Vaeri  here. She always has the such great ideas and she should choose the name because she inspired this vision of the Winnie-Rayek-family...

Awww it's so sweet of you to wait for my opinion!^^ i don't mind Rayshen...though would she really be considered lucky? No one ever seems to consider Recognition a matter of luck. Perhaps Rayah or Rayahn. Child of Light, as her mother has been cleansed of darkness and light must hold a special meaning for her.  That's all i could come up with, i need to see if i have that giant dictionary list of elfquest language stashed away somewhere...

Thrilled you colored this, and doubly so you remembered to have some lovely brown to the kitlings skin! Winnowill and her look lovely! And Rayek looks so handsome!

I shall certainly think of more, and happy, AU's!

Edit: i thought of some! I had a bit of a headache earlier i needed to banish before i could devote serious brain power to this! So here we go! People who get a happier ending in an AU.

Ahnshen- he recognizes Moonshade, which helps him realize and accept who she truly is. They remain lovemates until Moonshade chooses to leave with her tribe to find Cutter, in which Ahnshen understands and lets her go without regrets.

Voll- rather than flying to the Palace, the Wolfriders convince him to fly the tribe to Sorrows End. While there, he meets and recognizes Savah, bringing more life and hope to the Glider Lord who never expected to have a child of his own.

Two Edge- after traveling with the Go-back's to answer the Palace's call, and giving up on Venka, when Ahdri comes to comfort him and draw him out of his solitude, eyes meet eyes and Two Edge finds a part of him mended he never thought could be, and finally can find his balance between his two natures.

Aroree- happy to have spent so many years with the Wolfriders, she of course traveled with the tribe when Sunstream went to consummate Recognition with Brill. But to all tribes shock, they recieved a new reason to celebrate when she met eyes with the strong but gentle Snakeskin.

Yes, I love their kitling to have a visible outward resemblence of the parents. Beautiful genes for sure!
