The groupings are obvious thanks to your headlines. I figure they are collected for "shown loss" because each elf without parents around must have felt the loss of the ... i. e. Redlance, Strongbow a.s.o.

Poor Pike ... this almost funny/cheerful collection illustrates well how much loss he had to endure. during the story. He must be a very positive-thinking character to keep as cheerful and content as he shows.

for the record: Personally I count only events that actually happened and left life-threatening damage. Everything else would be just severe danger for me.

- didn't think of the shapechanged poisening .. and I add almost frozen after Scouter's challenge!

to 4. ... I simply was not sure about YOUR view on the relationship of with his recognized mate's adoptive son ... and     's connection with her lifemate 's son.

For me adoption begins with the parents, all other subsequent relationships are default.

No indication that Tyleet has in any way adopted Windkin, and it's literally impossible for Scouter to have adopted Little Patch.
