You bet! Although it can sometimes be hilarious as well, one of my professors was talking about those gendered student bags and going on about how the boys, who got condoms, could be viewed as sexually active individuals whereas the girls, who got tampons, could not be viewed as such. When I told her what I got in my bag, she said it could be because of four different reasons:

1. I simply got the wrong bag
2. I was mistaken for a boy
3. My sexuality was taken seriously (!?)
4. It was a hint

Right...


What I have discovered today? That my sister's cat can tell what time it is. She has clearly understood that I usually (try to) get up at six in the morning and so woke me ten minutes before the alarm bell rang this morning, demanding a cuddle. When I didn't, she resorted to using my throat and shoulder as a scratching post... -_-

I think (as in, I'm not sure at all) it means that my professor viewed the goodie bags as slightly discriminating - the boys got condoms because they are (seen as) sexually active beings, while the girls got tampons because... well, they didn't get anything that could make them look like sexually active beings. Thus my professor probably thought that the boys' sexuality/sexualities was taken seriously, while the girls' were not. Or something like that.

I discovered yesterday that I shall never again take our dog out for his evening walk, alone. Running into a badger after 10 in the evening, alone and with a dog who would like to sniff said badger, is not funny!

Today I did not recognize, but
realized that it means to be free!
Free from the unloved husband!
Free from other people's opinions
from other people's impositions!

Discovered that I forgot to fill up my coffie box when it was empty. Too boring starting looking for coffie early in the morning. Don't get me wrong, I love early mornings, but I need my coffie! Who doesn't?

Discovered that it was good I has a tiny test of the snack paprica plant before I had it in my stew for dinner: it turned out to be chilli. I used some of it, but I swear, we've been set up. It was supposed to be paprica!!!

They are in the same family, and are usually sold right next to each other, so maybe the place you got i from made a mistake in labeling?

My boyfriend got drunk last night and told me that he "wanted it to be a surprise", but he's going to ask me to marry him in January. (Shhh!)

I learned that there can never be too much space when you're casting your fishing pole off a pier. I was throwing mine to cast it and heard my boyfriend scream, and I turned around, thinking he'd caught a fish on his own line.
Alas, no. It was just my fish hook imbedded in his forearm

He was ok. Yes, the guy next to us was awesome! Thank god the barb didn't get in - just the tip of the hook. We were both laughing and he said "I love that we have a story about this day now!"

**Cue first hour of us getting there, helping a couple try to pull up a stingray (45 mins of them trying to reel it in and me saying, Can we keep it? I have an Escoffier recipe for stingray!) - it finally snapped the line
**Cue second hour when boyfriend reeled in something from the bowls of hell called an oystercroak fish which smelled like hell and we used as bait. "Can I slice off another bait of Satan for my hook" I'd ask. Later, smelling my finger, I said Ewww Satan stinks!
**Cue the regular hand held net we macguvered with twine and put chicken thigh in the center and lowered off the pier to catch crab since we forgot our crab basket (it worked)!
** Cue losing the Lowes bucket off the pier and boyfriend shimmying down the bars to catch it and it almost getting swept through the inlet until I managed to climb down the other side to catch it.
** Cue one of the crabs we caught being SO PISSED at being caught, her claw was half broken, she jumped out of the bucket (after we retrieved it) of shallow water and tried to claw my face off.

....Yeah, glad we have *A* story  
You never know what's going to happen whenever we have a day trip. I love it. It makes me strangling him more delicious
