| The norwegian dubbes of the songs of Encanto. And I'm dreadfully dissapointed They've dubbed the songs and allot of the lines so it's almost completely identical to the English original, and when that happens it's rarely with a good result. I remember the time when they managed to give good trancelations of Disney's songs. Heck the Hunchback of Notre Dame's God Save the Outcasts has even been declared the most beautiful of those dho were made. And now they give us... I don't even know what to think about today's dubbing. The songs from Moana were just the same, good in English, HORRIBLE in norwegian. And Frozen 2 as well, I hated those songs! I swear we have lost something on the way here. The magic of good dubbing is dead. That's what I've discovered! | |

| I hope everyone had a nice Christmas! Today I discovered that the extra hours I agreed to work are also in januari. When I agreed, I was told I would only have to do this for 6 weeks, but now the office workers say it's in januari as well, and they won't explain how that happened. What I think is that they extended the period without noticing me and they won't admit it. The client the hours are for doesn't even need them anymore! She's fine! And she's super annoying and tries to make me do things I'm not supposed to do every time, and I have to argue with her about it. I'm so angry! I have better things to do! I am free from work now, so I try to forget about it for now. I'll see what I do next week. And really, next time they ask me to work extra hours they can go to hell! Edit: So the prolonged extra hours turned out to be a misunderstanding. Maybe the people at the office are just human beings with good and bad days, and not evil reincarnated. (This is also a discovery!) For probably, soon being rid of the extra hours! I have enough stuff going on to have to worry about stuff like this! ___________________________________________________

| Another discovery. (This is a very exciting morning..) My husband and I discovered the hydrangea in our garden is immortal. In a million years, all life on earth is gone, and when the aliens come, all they will find is Wall E and our hydrangea. ___________________________________________________ | |

| ...that I started to love Barbie Mermen The newest Series of the "color reveal mermaids" has also a merman (marked as rare) and today I could collect them all, inclusive the rare merman ! Here is the great tip for those who want to collect them all: you must go into a shop where they have a lots of them. then you have to look at the lid on top, there is a number on it. You can only pay attention to the numbers in the 2nd and 3rd digits. When you have found cans with 6 different, consecutive numbers, you have all the figures, including the rare one. Another tip: to get the merman, you have to buy the packaging with the highest number on the lid. mine had the number: 2821HF The weird rainbow paint still has to be washed off, that's the "reveal" nonsense. I am so happy that I got him. He is so gorgeous and beautiful with his long silver-white hair. this is the first merman with long hair.

| Yes indeed, but what happened to his caudal fin? Mattel did a miserable job on it... so I had to enhance it and help my little merlad by sewing him a properly one. | |

| That's not a fin ... but a ballerina fairy skirt! You've made him his new functional handsome fin? Awesome! Now - what's his name? ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| He is very pretty! Especially with his new fabulous fin!
I tried being more positive about my daughters boyfriend. And this made her feel encouraged, so she told more nice stories about him, and by the end of the day I started genuinely liking him. Not what I had expected. But she's in love with him, so I better like him because he'll be in her life for a while. ___________________________________________________

| Thanx you two! Well, Sifra, I think this is the best way to get along with your foster daughter. In the end, she must make her own errors. Good luck with that teenager adventure (thinking of what will happen with Moonlight-Luna in the next years ) "That's not a fin ... but a ballerina fairy skirt!" Haha, yes it is! His name? Well, Ken I guess. But Mattel, don't try it on with me , nope! He will have a different name, I will make him a Sea Raider. He`s worth it. | |

| Wow @Sifra. That's incredble. (Please ignore my post at the 'How do you feel' thread.) Maybe this could be a way for you to connect better with her? I hope I works out fine. And male mermaid looks awesome! Boi's cat likes plastic bags. They're exiting because they make sounds. | |

She's more like 'Christmas was a drop cause of covid, so now this week is depending on you working your but off so the store will keep going for the next year'
Me? Believe it or not, valentine's day has made me hate roses

| @Rainflower
Is she the "Oh, but you have to celebrate it!" type?
Quote would work perfectly without the backslash in the first brackets. - Redhead Ember wrote:
