Do you have an elf, but no Holt to put them in? Then come join us!

Beacon Call Holt is a place where a malfunctioning safety device from a long since shattered Palace teleports in elves from all kinds of place (and dimensions). So bring your elf for some fun culture chocks and friendships forged through survival!

All we ask is that elf characters are kept in the style of Elfquest. We're all for animal-blooded elves not seen in canon (e.g. we have one maned wolf-blood, two lynx-bloods, etc.), but please don't ask for magic that's not on our magic list or bring in an elf who looks like the Hulk Wink

Here's a quick overview of helpful posts to read.

We have 0 participation demands! Come and go as you please - we roleplay for fun and don't want the games to be a source of stress for anyone.

PS. For those who want their elves to see a few familiar faces when they appear in the Holt, many of our members have left their characters' old tribes open for character creation!

Just giving this post a bump to show the Holt isn't dead Smile

Again, this is not a Holt for people who prefer the "post everyday"-kind of pace (even though that does happen from time to time); we're basically made for everyone who's worried they can't keep up with the more fast paced Holts or who can be active only some parts of the year. Come and have a look if that sounds like something for you!

Another little bump for this thread - we're a Holt with no participation demands, so we tend to vary in activity Smile

Also, a quick reminder that we welcome all kinds of elves and we're always open to new members!

Thank you! And it's been going well with the Holts, at least in my opinion Smile

Beacon Call has been going on and off from 2014 and Survivors of a Lost Holt has been around since 2004.

I think it's great that the more fast-paced Holts are making a come back and are going strong! But I'm also glad that there's room for the more slow-paced Holts, like these two I admin. I admitted to myself about a year ago that I've got so much not-Elfquest going on that I no longer can post in a game on a weekly basis year round - and I think there are more people like me out there; people who love to roleplay but don't have the time and energy to join a fast paced group. So while we go on hiatus now and then, we'll go strong for a long while yet Very Happy
