| I wanna know. What do people believe happened to Prey-Pacer? Did Swift-Spear run him out/banish him? Did he just die an accidental death? Or did Swift-Spear kill him in a challenge? ___________________________________________________ 'We're all broken, in different ways, in varying degrees.'

| Hhm...
They way I understand it Swift-Spear wasn't too bad in the beginning ... and not insane. I don't think he seriously challenged his father ... and thus neither banished nor killed him. I see another way ...
Preypacer was a kind of loner, more comfortable among animals than among his tribemates. He lead them ... but probably without any enthusiasm and ambition. His son grew up and developed ambition ... and there were quarrels, yes. More or less open arguments, testing to challenge. Maybe Swift-Spear became something like hunt leader - getting in charge more and more while Preypacer followed his own song. And one day he did not return from a lonely hunt. He just disappeared.
Preypacer DECIDED to leave the tribe. To stay on his own for the rest of his life. And some day there was a hunt going wrong ... an accident ... a sickness ... or just a too cold season. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

I like that idea, Em. How bad Swift-Spear was seems to depend on the writer. ___________________________________________________ 'We're all broken, in different ways, in varying degrees.'

| A funny little thing about one of the women "in Prey-Pacer's life" even though neither of them really wanted it.
For the longest time I thought Wreath was called Wrath, and since I'd read descriptions of her that she apparently had a pretty short temper, it made perfect sense to me... ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game! | |

| I legitimately can't remember if I uploaded this stupid, sexy Prey-Pacer to my thread, so I'm putting him here. He's supposed to be checking a tree that's been damaged by a bear. ___________________________________________________ 'We're all broken, in different ways, in varying degrees.'
