That was a fast catch, Shadowpath! Tyldak is indeed from the most recent nest and I had hoped he would stick a bit longer in the snow. XD

I did my best to drop the most ambivalent character first ... ^^ One of your guesses is so very close again, Outlier. Our minds seem to be connected.

And you've found the egg Outlier was looking for ... my "Brothers in Arms" are Strongbow and his wolffriend Lashpaw indeed.

Congrats, G0lden! Ekuar was overdue already, considering he was in the first batch I've dropped. *counts eggs ... still one missing!*

... and Wolfie saved the day!    That's not Lashpaw but the missing match for the oldest nest! The omnious odd egg is Choplicker, Ember's wolffriend!

Shouldn't all of you know meanwhile that I include bondbeasts and even animals at times to grant variety?

That's this year's record catch, Shadowpath ... I'd hardly dropped Drub and she was brought back already! Fast job!

The Trophy Quest eggies gathered quickly ... evenly distributed on the hunters. Congratulations to Shadowpath, Wolfie, G0lden and Redhead! The nest looks nicely decorated now.
And G0lden added to the big nest as well.

A quest for children/a child or A quest by children? Another question I expect no answer to...

The only quest for a child I can think of is Kahvi's quest to get a fawn by Cutter, but the number of eggs doesn't fit...

The fact that the eggs are blue makes me think Wavedancers, so a quest by the Wavedancer pips? But can't make the amount of eggs fit here either...

I can't seem to find anymore ''children'' eggs...

I found Brill though.

Suppose it could be the group staying at Crest Point to wait for Sunstream and the Palace during Discovery. Brill, Krill, Darshek, Spine and Snakeskin.

But where would the rest be hiding?

Today's nest is an exception from the "Quest" theme as it is not a group you are looking for. Nevertheless the characters are on the same quest ...
The nest symbolizes MORE than CHARACTERS ... it's an event - a turning point. Find out about this moment.

And THEN there is the tricky part ... it will still be in the character threads!
Some characters are closer linked to this than others - I have made MY choice and connected three chars to it.

If you know ElfQuest and take a careful look the eggs might ring a bell ... and tell you in whose character threads you'll find the eggies.

So you will have to find out the special theme of Good Friday and the connected characters ... riddle enough?

Uhm... how many eggs are there? Have a feeling that's rather important.

The sand-coloured on in the front.
The amber-looking one behind that, to the right.
Looks like there's a watery one to the left.
The big blue one in the background, or is that the planet? Or both?
Are there more hidden eggs than there are eggs in this nest?

Homecoming. Not a group, but the same quest.
Same quest at different times?
A quest to find a home? But... that's practically what Elfquest is about, so that could be everyone.
A turning point that lead people home?
A turning point that made people search for a home? (but of course the big nest is already that...)


(Yeah... I'm just asking a bunch of random question to get everyone's gears running. Hope it works.)

That sounds like the easy part.
One we know which characters we're looking for...

Once you have an idea what "turning point" you 're looking for ...
- the symolism of the nest -

identify the characters I've picked (more made the same "journey")
- the symbolism of the eggs -

then you can search in the character threads for confirmation.
... or just go and find egg(s) by chance ^^


To answer some of the questions:
1. You are looking for 3 character eggs. One is dropped by now ...
2. The "big blue" holds helpful content too - doesn't count as an egg tho.
3. The look of the eggs is a very direct hint ... to the characters.
4. The linguistic hint is actually the simple part.

The nest will change eventually ... making the symbolism more obvious.

Well... the watery one makes me think Wavedancers, for obvious reasons...
