If she was pregnant and not entirely clear in the head I'd think she's taking time off to get better and after that, raise her child?
Heck, maybe she is in wrapstuff because of the what happened.

So she probably was with the other sun folk all this time with her child?

This is so confusing. I keep wondering whether there are parts of the Forevergreen story that are not canon anymore? Hopefully it will become a bit more clear in the next comic.

Wouldn't surprise me if there's now gigantic holes in that specific comic series' canon by now.

I don't remember the Forevergreen / New Blood storyline much at all. I lost interest in New Blood when BB took it over and made it a single storyline, rather than a collection of "this may be canon, it's okay if it's not" stories.

I can't remember which issue it happened in, but I seem to remember the group of elves being split up (some of them got captured by humans I think) and they forgot how to send to each other?
They were on a beach? (I think?)

Dart and Yun have lost the others and are searching for them. They don't think of simply sending to them.
In their defence they were distraught by just having been attacked by a monster, nearly having drowned and just having arrived in a strange land.

Later on in the same issue, they see the others and want to warn them, but the waves are too loud so the others can't hear them.
Again, they don't think of sending.

Just like Jethel, who was captured at the time, didn't think to send to Sunstop when he was trapped by humans in Passage. XD When Suntop already has sent for everyone

Sifra, you are not alone. While New Blood and Fire-Eye was ripe with problems, I found them charming.

I just read the links. Dude. Why is Yun afraid of dark, closed in places? She didn't get squished at birth and later end up jammed in a blue mountain door. Did she genetically inherit Skywise's entire personality? How is that even possible, considering she was conceived before Siege at Blue Mountain?

I think they did the call-back-to-Skywise a lot in the comics.

I remember they tried to have her getting on with Ember while having them talking about their fathers' relationship with each other. (I think it was on that series where Ember gets beaten up at one point?)

Heck, in FQ they almost use a whole page hammering it in the fact Yun really reminds everybody of Skywise.
Seriously tho, from what I've seen, Yun actually comes off as much character.

This is a nitpick, but it's irritating me - what the frickety is the point of the Spray and Salt reshaping? Spray needs a tail so she can "swim apace" with Salt, and Salt needs legs to "answer The Call on foot"... has Reef somehow magically turned them into selfshapers, too? Because it looks to me like now Salt can't swim apace with Spray and Spray can't answer The Call on foot.

edit: I see now, "alternating limbs and tails". So Reef did turn them into selfshapers. Well, that sure is a new ability.

That or he's travelling with them so he can "swap them out" every few hours. Which seems like such a waste of healing powers. Why not "tail it" all the way to Iceholt and THEN grow legs? I think Wendy just wanted to draw Spray with a tail THAT badly.

... and yeah, as was mentioned up thread... she *really* can't draw convincing tails.

The tail would make sense if it were prehensile and based on vertebrae, for an animal that didn't plan on swimming far. I don't get it. 20k years in the ocean, and NO ONE decided to push the boundaries of shape and form?
