Just though of another one. Rayek x Crescent, I think it would have been perfect. I feel like he needed a Wolfrider to taper and humble his overbearing arrogance while also showing him that there is more to life then gaining knowledge and the magical arts. Someone who could debit him with grounded logic and someone who he would actually listen too.

I know I'm probably projecting my headcanon onto what little we know of Crescent and I suppose Kahvi was supposed to be "that" person for Rayek. But we all know that Kahvi became a real b**ch in Broken Weal.

Also, I would have loved to see Strongbow put in his place by his only daughter being recognized to Rayek of all people.

Anyway, I used Zinegirl's family tree to put together all the ridicules crack parings I've thought of so far. All I did was rearrange and omit a bunch of stuff from her original tree. She worked hard on the original image so I hope she doesn't get made at me for my personal use of it. Sad

On the many Newstar crack shippings, I'm beginning to consider her and Moonmirror. Also wondering about Venka/Freetouch,Tyleet/Korafay,Tyldak/Surge and a few others. I've also thought about Dewshine/Strongbow and Dewshine/Dart. But then I sure hope that Door and Chot won't become canon, tho it would serve both right.

Ah, I remember that one. I wonder if it's also somewhere on DA. Photobucket is not the best place (anymore) for art (technical hindrances, advertising spam and so on).
But the comic is definitely interesting and well drawn. Just sad that there seems to be no text available, though one can understand quite much by the pictures alone. And sad that it seems unfinished...

Lots of things can happen in ten years. Especially if you have a pair of dead lifemates like Skot and Krim who - I'd imagine - was probably pretty eager for Pike to move on and find some new love, not because they didn't love him, but because they did love him.

Oh, and I have seriously started shipping Venka with Sunstream and Brill. It's all due to Mirff's joke that Sunstream was the sire of Satreeka, which really isn't that impossible, and the fact that Brill - the newcomer - was present at the birth.

ok, spent the whole evening reading in this thread. What came in my mind while I was at reading on page 1 but I believe I did not see anything of it in the thread was:
Rayek and one of the fish-tailed old or new wave dancers (except for the Brill relationship, but she has no fish tail)

Haha, of course I think of that sea-Leetah: Tilaweed and there was Kirith (but she does not fit)

new wavedancers:
there is one female with a golden tail, but I don`t like anyone of the new wavedancers. They don`t have the true mermaid magic on them, only the old ones.
Conclusion: Leetah or Tilaweed and momentarily I love the idea of the latter one
