| I've discovered more Recognition scenes for my baubling in final quest ... ... so far no surprise. And then some fun ones: "Jitterling" and Newstar - a "Beauty and the Beast" scene ^^ maybe ... a "Beauty and the Beast" situation for sure and "Beauty and the Beast" reversed: Skywise and "Fairhorn" *must note this list where I'll find it again*___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| Simple answer?
Shapechanged Reef and "decomposing" Rootless Ones qualify for "beast" in everyday language. But this is irrelevant anyway ... because they perfectly qualify for the BEAST of the fairytale. Not human and dangerous looking, a frightening sight - yet feelings, sense and sensitivity of a human being. Loving and longing for love. Just insert "elfin" instead of "human". ^^
Two-Edge was not in my "Beast"-Club anyway. I've always liked him - as I do with Reef and the Funguys. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| Okay, come home from work I usually get greeted by 3 dogs. Not tonight, only 2 greet me. I can hear some whinning though. Got into my room and find Tequila stuck in blanket. Now you are wondering how can dog get stuck in a blanket. There is a hole in it. Tequila got her head and a leg stuck while trying to climb out of the blanket sometime today. No clue how long she was stuck, but she was sure hungry. Ran for the dog food bowl as soon as I cut her loose. ___________________________________________________ Reese's, Kashmir's, and Tequila's mommy. | |

I dunno how it is in the classical fairytale, but in the Disney version you could argue that Gaston is the real beast, at least if the equalise "beast" to "monster".

| What makes a beast a beast? I don't know about the Disney version but when I think about the TV series I think a nice beast-out qualifies as beasty, even if the beast reads poetry on other occasions. ^^ ___________________________________________________ 「からだの傷ならなおせるけれど心のいたではいやせはしない」

| "The Beast" was always the good guy, Red - be it Disney or the original fairytale. That's why I call "Hulk-Reef" and the Rootless Ones - even Two-Edge - a "Beast" in this sense without bad conscience. This was the essence of the fairytale for me: Don't judge be the look of it. Don't judge be the outside. I've discovered - more likely ACCEPTED - that an online friendship ended due to a misunderstanding. A clumsy wording at an over-sensitive over-emotional night. That I'll never get a second chance. I still mourn ... but I've realized that I have to go on. *... still secretly hopes - hopelessly ...*Well, this was a not too pleasant discovery, G0lden - and funny at the same time! XD Poor Tequila had an unpleasant time *hugs and scratches* - yet ... ... considering that she was mostly concerned about food it was not too bad. *imagines Tequila listening to Reeses and Cashmir munching ...* poot doggie. ^^ ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| Here's tonight's discovery. Alan got home literally before I did, so he had the garage door opened. We entered the house through the garage and were greeted by two dogs. Where's the third. Well Tequila did it again. She didn't get stuck in a blanket, but the livingroom. We have a gate that separates the living room from the rest of the house. No accidents, but again she was hungry. Alan thinks she was asleep in the front room when he left for work.

That was my point. Sometimes the person who looks less human (or elfin) can be more human (or elfin) than those who actually look human (or elfin). I knew the Beast was the good guy in the fairytale as well, what I was wondering was if there was a "Gaston" character in the fairytale; someone who wanted Belle for her good looks, but not her brains, not her personality.

| Not really a discovery of today, but did you know that the alpha/beta theory of wolf sociology is not longer considered to be valid? That's something the very man who came up with it said.

| I've read about it some time ago. Looks like the Alpha/beta threory was mostly based on the studies of wolves in captivity - and packs tossed together by humans. When the studies fokussed on free living wolves and naturally grown packs behaviourist found out that they are basically families - with the parent couple as leaders. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert. | |

| That I am slowly organizing my medical bills. I just got most of my pay stubs sorted and threw out some everyday bills that have been paid. A very small dent in a big pile.

| That the danish showing of tour de France is now somewhat more watchable since they got rid of that creepy, dirty freak they've had as a narrator for years. ___________________________________________________ 'We're all broken, in different ways, in varying degrees.'

| Something interesting and a bit puzzling. In issue 8 (of OQ) there's 3 men that attack and take One-Eye's...eye.
But In Wolfrider!, there's only two. The two in Wolfrider!, are mostly identical to the one holding the stake and the one holding One-Eye's left arm. ___________________________________________________ 'We're all broken, in different ways, in varying degrees.'
