I got to work this afternoon. One of the customers I saw, going out the door, had four clear bottles in her cart.

I looked closer and saw that they were hand sanitizer. The 17 ounce bottles are a new type we haven't carried before.

In any case, it was the first time I'd seen hand sanitizer for sale in possibly two months.

I asked her if there was much left, and she said no.

So when I went on break, I located the hand sanitizer display.

There was a sign beside it asking customers to limit themselves to two bottles.

The lady must have gone through self-checkout when no one was looking.

For the rest of my shift, almost all of the people who bought hand sanitizer took two bottles. It's as if they felt obliged to buy more than they needed, just because that was the limit.

Didn't these people learn to share in kindergarten?

No Trollbabe, people don't know that anymore, as we've gotten selfish over the years. At our mall, they have finally gotten new ones, but I buy only one at the time to make an example. I thought this storage paranoia was so horrible that I just can't. Especially since soap and water happen to be MUCH more effective towards virus. I use only that at work while I can. But people are so rude, this has brought out the worst in us.

Feel tired... have a day off.

A friend of mine will die. Rather sooner than later.
Not a specially close friend. Still a pleasant part of daily life for almost 25 years.

So sad to hear, Embala*air hug* I hope at least your friend passes peacefully if there is nothing more to do. Wish I could say something better to cheer you up.

I feel like an old fashion servant sometimes. Norway's national day on sunday, and we're working our ears or feet off to please people. I wonder if people ever stop to think of those who work to make them satisfied. And boss daughter is not at all good at saying how clever we are, just picking on us.

oh oh, yes, being confronted with death feels bad and we are no more used to it like people of earlier times. hugz I don `t know, what to say more about that, I am not fit with dealing death too...

Thank you, friends. She's my age. Just a year she seemed to be well - and was full of plans.

Ive actually been feeling good, just been very busy with this whole CBD for PTSD project ive been given.

i'm all a-wiggle with excitement! planning a camping trip for me and the boyfriend(got back together and things are getting better) next month, AND i got a new custom printed binder to hold my recipes! a new cookbook all my own to last the rest of my lifetime! yeeeeah it has my real name on it....



and i found out i have over 300 dollars in ebt food benefits!! O.O so set for food for the next couple months yahoo! silver lining to this stupid virus.^^

I actually went to Target to get a container for blankets and sheets. Bus had only a couple of people on it each way. Got what I needed and got home. Tomorrow Lowes. I need more potting spoon to transplant a couple of more plants.

So I had a very good day.

Well now i'm kinda sad. Had to delay the camping trip a week because a coworker had requested those days off already. And boyfriend chose to go later. I worry if he doesn't really want to go and is just putting it off if he can...

Feel so bad for my Mom. I've started some sewing projects for serious and she's all into helping me, feeling happy that I've taken interest in it as both she and my grandma's been pretty good at it. But poor thing never get the time to sit down and sew for herself as something always comes up for her. It's years since she bought it, and she barely know how it works. It's such a shame, cause she's always been good with sewing. She made bunads for both us and some friends. I don't live at home anymore, but I wish I could help her. She never gets time off, and she doesn't demand it loud enough either.

After a really hectic few months I decided to give myself some time off before I crack on with the next project. I have never been so bored in all my life, lol.

Sad. But I will get through this.

Feel happyafter I started sewing it feels like another missing part of me is found. For some reason I worry less than before.

cool! I would love to have enough time to sew, there are so beautiful fabrics for children, and I have no bloody time to sew , I have to decide between that and drawing.
Have very much fun at sewing.

Happy but exhausted after sourcing whole lists of lab equipment plus boiling down shampoo and pretty much everything today here at the current lab...

Too bad i cant go near the pool - the neighbors are in it again and those morons went to Venice Beach this weekend with thousands of other nutters begging to catch coronavirus. and they have their dog. I could avoid them otherwise but their pit will come right up and say hi...to everyone.

I'm feeling very good.

My job has been a stressful pain in the arse for a while now but today I solved a nastybad problem entirely on my own. We normally work with specialists on these really complicated issues (I've been working on it over a month) but everyone ignored my request for assistance today. They were helping everyone else with easy stuff but no one would touch my work request with a ten foot pole. I'd just asked for a few pointers or anything to look for...but all I got was crickets. Grr....

My entire day was booked solid with barely a moment to eat...and I jumped into my scheduled call with the customer without any backup or any idea how to get things working again. For the past few weeks I'd fix one part of this dysfunctional equipment, and then more things would break and the original problem just wouldn't go away. It just never seemed to end and was driving me nuts! I was frantically Googling and looking through our internal support pages during the call to try and find anything that might help, but there was nothing that explained what might be causing this huge mess of a problem.

So I took an educated guess and said "Well, we are going to try THIS!"

And it was the right solution, because the customer reported back that things were finally working like they are supposed to which really made my day. Lately all my customers do is complain about everything...so it was really nice to see one happy and positive for a change!

Of course, I made sure to rub it in the specialists faces that I didn't need their help after all.

May they all sucks eggs!

Just hot.  It is still hot out and I'm staying inside.

I feel so sad and I just wanna cryone of the employees at the grocery store at the mall where I work just died in a traffic accedent. He was the kind who said Hi! to everyone and was so funny. It's not gonna be the same without him there. I feel so bad for the whole shop, they are so sad all of them.
