| Kahvi looked as peaceful as Kahvi can be in spirit. What do we equate with peace? I think it's just about being free of the confines. But essentially, she is a bad ass and that's right down to her core ...but then, Skot and Krim weren't, and I wonder why. But then they were just being Go-Backs. So I have no idea. Anyway, per the reincarnation thing, maybe there's a twist to it. Lehrigenorwhatever said humans ride the wheel, but what if that path applies to all mortals? Maybe the immortal elves are not 'vessels' for reincarnation, but the mortal ones are, like the Wolfriders. Which would be kinda freaky. ___________________________________________________ Thank you for the beautiful banner, Embala | |

That'd be a nice twist Maybe that's the reason why we never* see any Wolfrider spirits but Bearclaw and Joyleaf. In the next issue Dr. Dre summons some spirits after which Bearclaw just get "reincarnated into" a raccoon while Timmain is like "oh wait, I forgot you to tell you this... Uhm, yeah, it's my gift to you :-* *and one shot of One-Eye

| Manga. I think you're right. There has been a lot of talk about souls in FQ. And that whole deal with Krim about going back and not just to the palace. I think Wendy is trying to tell us something | |

| I don't think it's reincarnation though ... Would that make sense considering what we know about the Palace and dead elves thus far? That would be some serious ret con! | |

| I also think we should take what Lewhatshushumaname said with a grain of salt. He's just guessing-- as are we all. | |

So, tell me - would it be a retcon as serious as claiming that Timmain and Cutter are actually the same soul?

Lastly, it has to do with whatever is missing in that cover image for issue 12.
Well, Cutter's not wearing New Moon...

| Oh god, has Timmain actually gone rogue and is impersonating Cutter on a quest? That would be hilarious! Completely OOC, but hey, that hasn't stopped our Timmy yet! (You kinda need to have a character to begin with to go OOC, after all ) | |

| I don't think it's Timmain on the cover. After all; why would she be freaking out if she's being it? ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game! | |

When this drawing was first published Wendy said it wasn't the facefur that was missing. But isn't it curious that just one issue before this cover we see Timmain-Cutter without facefur but with those lose strands around her/his face? Strands that Cutter never had before but which could almost be mistaken for his facefur? In every other drawing Cutters facefur grows in a clear line under his cheekbones but in this one there is no line.... I'm pretty sure it IS the facefur. So either it's Timmain on the cover or Tam is going to loose his wolfblood and he'll probably won't be amused. Funny those reincarnation theories... I read them before #11 appeared and laughed about it but now I'm afraid it could very well be true. I wouldn't be surprised if Wendy DID have this idea from the start. Remember the first scene in OQ#1 in which we see Cutter and Skywise after we saw two highones with undeniable resemblances to our two hero's? But I'm sure the idea of Cutter and Timmain came later. I'm not sure what to think about it right now, I'm just glad SOMETHING interesting is happening... well... I hope it turns out to be interesting.

| Do we actually know that losing his wolfblood would cause a wolfrider's facefur to just fall off? Windkin and Skywise were too young to have facefur when they lost their wolfblood - in fact Skywise still isn't old enough - and Moonshade never had facefur for... obvious reasons. ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game! | |

| Cutter totally had those strands around his face in his previous incarnations. Go look!
Yeah, i'm with Ember. I don't think losing his Wolfblood would make his facefur fall out.

| You are right Lunakat, Cutter had those strands before having his facefur. And no, we don't know if loosing the wolfblood would mean loosing the facefur... so maybe he's just in shock because someone managed to shave of his side whiskers while he took a nap | |

| If losing wolfblood also causes loss of facefur then just imagine if Treestump lost his wolfblood, unlikely as it is; there would be a whole pile of facefur on the ground. ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game! | |
