| I call it "November rain".
Cold and wet and grey. Snowy rain alternates with rainy snow. Slush at the waysides.

| 8 inches of snow over the weekend. For an ill prepared town on the West cost of the US, that's quite a lot. We finally made a trip to the store today and the roads are still very icy. 3-6 inches expected this weekend as well. Ugh, I hate snow!  | |

| Just as the snow was starting to melt we got what looks like another 6-8 inches last night. High today of 35 with a low of around 13 tonight. Brr. And lots more snow predicted for next week. I wish my town had plows and would look after the citizens...they work on a few main roads but mostly we are on our own.
Time to stay home, fire up the woodstove and stay warm. And pray that the power doesn't go out!
Snow in Clear Lake? I used to live not too far from there...I hope it warms up soon! | |

| Lots of rain. Was just in Joshua Tree for a trip and we got stormed out with a flash flood warning and had to leave... a couple of days later, there was snow everywhere in the desert! But it's so beautiful and we're going back in a couple of weeks to see the desert in bloom... | It's actually Spring  ... too early - and most probably winter will return and frost killing the ealy blossoms ... but I enjoy what I'll get when I get it!
