| I would ask "Not even the Go-Backs?" - but you're right, not even they did - since it seems Kahvi was quite pleased with a 30-50% mortality rate. | |

| Possibly, since Elves are influenced by Spock the Vulcan. ___________________________________________________ | |

I don't think even the Go-Backs had ever been at all-out open war before then. It had mostly been skirmishes and raiding parties, of which - quite frequently - nobody made it back. Explaining why Kahvi thought a 30-50% mortality rate was quite good. Also... the elves can't actually read.In fact, I think the fact that a bunch of people who'd never really been in open war before would screw up tactically is more believable than if they'd just shown perfect tactical know-how. ___________________________________________________ "When you do what you love best, you shine where you love."Come play the Who Am I game!

| After they finally meet the tree-elves and Skywise shagged one of them for the first time (hey, we all know he is going to do so!), will he be covered in splinters? ___________________________________________________ It's a dolphin!

| Yeah, but this is Skywise... he's gonna try to find every knothole he can find, just so he doesnt miss out on a particular shape or size... and bark is rough! I guess another question would be if he would bring a tag-team of healers with him on his "quest", and if they would play the classic "We'll heal him, but leave the pain to learn from"?
These poor trees dont knkw what they are getting themselves into... or the do and are refusing to answer the call, figuring they are far better off hiding from humans and forest fires than to willingly jump into this collection of nymphomaniacs? Might have caught the term "treeing" and decided, "Heck no." ___________________________________________________

| As a few characters have been "spooted" in the face with Preserver goo, and suffered no ill effects, we can assume it isn't toxic. But what does it taste like? It can't be sweet or salty, or else different creatures would attempt to eat it. ___________________________________________________ | |

| Perhaps Bubblegum... but not the good, bazooka joe kind, more like the Buttered Popcorn candy kind that no one likes, but they still pump them out by the millions. To be sure, its not cotton candy, that stuff wont hold up in rain and the hyperactive l, candy loving Elves would eat their way out (besides that, a friend of mine tried selling it as such to some unwitting humans. Got zero repeat sales. Did get an angry mob trying to follow her into the tunnels, though, and thats always good for a laugh!) ___________________________________________________ | |

| I can't help it... but those silly questions about the tree elves make me think about... er... porn.... Did you know when a male porn actor has trouble with his er... 'gear' to function at the right moment the term they use is 'wood problems' So my silly question is: would those tree elves use the same expression? Or don't they just ever have any 'wood problems' and thus make excellent porn actors? | |

| It was only right that one who was so fond of trees would be bound in woodlock...
But of course, even so, the children of such a tree-hugger would still be out of Woodlock.
Would another, having looked in on a private moment among tree-elves blush a deep Woodhue? ___________________________________________________

I recall a panel from the Original Quest, that showed the inside of Leetah's house. It included something resembling a domestic cat. Bond-beasts, various mounts, and Winnie's lab specimens aside, why didn't any of the other Elves domesticate pets? ___________________________________________________
