| For a start I'll list what we gathered in the original Fauna thread and what else comes to mind.
acorn
cactus
capnuts
corn (whatever the Sunfolk grew exactly)

puckernuts ???
pumpkin (grown at Two-Spear's time)
strangleweed
whistling leaves

mushrooms
various trees

| I wondered if capnuts were hazelnuts. Acorns are a survival food, but they are bitter in their raw state.
The cacti that Redlance grew into fanciful shapes was the saguaro, and the cactus that Cutter sliced open was probably a barrel cactus.
I think the elves called pumpkins "punkins."
Strangleweed was magically shaped to form a trap in Blue Mountain. I have to assume that it's a deep-forest plant that needs very little light. I'm not sure how the net maintained its shape once the plant=shaper was gone.
We don't know how many different herbs Maggotty used, that were unique to the WoTM.

| It seems that the Father Tree, and many others she draws, is a very large Mediterranean sycamore or "Aliso" in Spanish. | |

| Saguaros get funky, too. Crested sags are rare and precious.   Prickly pear cactus grow anywhere. ANYWHERE. Including on saguaro.  ___________________________________________________

First, Blair being told that the Forevergreen is across the ocean to the southeast, starts drawing Vietnam and Thailand...
however, then Door talks about having to fly back up the "spine of the world" to Blue Mountain, indicating that Wendy probably thinks of it being more in Costa Rica or Guatemala. | |

| Fine interesting plants here, though I am no great plant drawer, it is always good to know the lookalike of the vegetation when one wants to draw Elfquest elves within a plant-surrounding. Moonlight likes flowers and as a half Sea Raider , she loves water, even when it comes from above.  Found
