Now, the presence of Suntop and Ember in nest 2, and the fact that the clue is "Children's tale" makes me think either one of the stories from Bedtime Stories, or the story of Little Patch.

Found her! It's Elmy, the human girl visiting the Holt in the children's story A Gift Of Her Own.


She interacted the mainly with Suntop, Ember and Trinket, but also with Leetah and Redlance. Those two last threads are empty at the moment of writing this though.

As for the nest I missed... Bearclaw and Maggotty are great! Looking forward to seeing the nest filled.


The big next... Wing is a great clue. I bet Dart is in there too, as he stayed in the Sun Village to protect them when the wolfriders left to follow Cutter. Which means I also expect Woodlock, Rainsong and the rest of the family to make an appearance.
But that doesn't fill the whole nest... There's 2 colors of eggs in it. I bet it's part wolfrider, part SunFolk. Maybe the prominent people like Savah, Suntoucher, etc?

*edit* after a quick search through the mentioned threads, no eggs to support this theory.
Maybe it's instead the original tribe of wolfriders who arrived at Sorrow's End? That includes Wing-as-a-baby.
Just realized that egg of Treestump supports this theory. But the clue doesn't...
Unless there's no SunFolk in the nest and it's just the wolfriders split in color over who goes and who stays?

A young chieftess-to-be for our Redhead just as I've wished for! Good guesses about the nests, Redhead. EQ offers so many possibilities ... one out of three isn't bad at all for first thought!

And I also have a suspicion Embala has cleaned away all old eggs.
