She's a lonely wanderer, Crossing Abode - Two moons shining on her Ever youthful face, framed by snow-white hair; Her deep, blues eyes saw love and despair.
Through the centuries she saw it all: Saw elves, trolls, men, big and small; Every minute many war-fools fall, Yet she survives - WISDOM is her CALL.
She seeked solitude from the start, Her choices - forms of Art! For she is no fool And plays by the rule Of wise moves.
She's a wanderer Knowing near and far - Her experience from the stars She keeps quietly, Quietly in her heart.

| Tam, to you I belong (Leetah's Song to Cutter's Spirit)
Tam, you were my life - Something died in me When you died; Noone knows how much I long For my barbarian, wild and strong! Now you're gone, My love, you're gone. Gone!
Gone.
Tam, to YOU I belong, Your spirit may be FREE and LIVES ON - Yet I am loosing my BREATH, For I want to join you in DEATH!
No! This ice-cold breath is my enemy, HE with his grey scythe has always been! I live for the tribe and the family, Touching you as I touch Father Tree, I can see YOU in our child: His heart, his WOLFBLOOD is just as wild...
...Oh Tam, without you, how can I be free? Sad, so sad my heart-melody; Every day, for you I will long - And it shall not end, my sad song. ___________________________________________________ Where flowers bloom, so does hope. - Lady Bird Johnson

| ✧ Father Tree ✧I dream of the Father Tree With us all as little elves, among its branches
Sitting when reading Leaves appearing when writing A new branch growing when adding Walking, jumping, while lurking And ✧ sending ✧ when chatting
My head already envisions it Some hands, one day, will create it Our hearts sure hope it shall exist, for us all to play and wander in it, and share its shade and sweet water
For our minds need echoes of our dreamsIn today's dream.. ..tomorrow already begins ! ___________________________________________________

| That's such a beautiful poem, PC. It's calming like a walk in nature...gives hope...for it points to our future. The end reminds me of the song 'Wind of Change'.
I like the way you write stories as well as beautiful poetry. <3 ___________________________________________________ Where flowers bloom, so does hope. - Lady Bird Johnson

| Both are beautiful! So fitting for Ruffel with the light pink background and the sakura blossoms. Ruffel is even coming alive and answering the poem in the first one. Great idea! Thank so much, Embala! Love it! <3 | |

Exactly my thought! Even Ruffel joined in the interaction. ^^ Seriously ... I didn't realize before it was almost finished how perfectly the quote complemented your heartfelt poem, Fairyring. I wish it would be as fast and easy to create a full-fleged collage for Leetah's song. I see pictures whirling in my head ... some melting together to illustrate the words and the mood. Sadly it's unrealistic to dream of more than a simple "sketch" ... true collages are impossible at the moment. Maybe I'll manage to add a backgrund picture somewhen soon. I'm happy you've found your way to deal with your sadness about Cutter's end and the shortcomings that were hurting you even more. I remember our talk some weeks ago ... and now fanart and fiction start to fill the gaps. I like what I read ... this "hidden moment" polishes the edges. I'll add a personal opinion. Leetah's grief, still fresh and sharp, will end some day. Her LOVE will live on. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| Thank you, Embala. Your collages are such a wonderful addition, fitting the mood. Whatever you'll do, it will be awesome, I know. I deeply admire the creativity, heart and soul you put into your collages, crafts (!), pictures, beautiful descriptions, comments.
Thank you also for the comment that, although grief for Cutter's abrupt end feels fresh now, time will heal the wounds eventually. May work for Leetah as well as the compassionate reader.

| Moonshade Rare to find. So exceptional was Her beauty - As the World decided 'It was her time' - The Night missed the light Of her violet eyes. One of a kind. Two Moons in grief Forever more, For she was the One They fell in love with And shined Most brightly for. | |

| Dewshine Joyful like Nature's Morning Song, Fragile but strong. Dancing In the mist of the woods, Don't judge by her delicate looks. No limits knows her heart, Sharing her true love She loved from the start. Her laughing echoes in the night, She's a wolfrider - Free and wild. ___________________________________________________ Where flowers bloom, so does hope. - Lady Bird Johnson | |

| It will, Fairyring. It will. Love for Moonshade. By Fairyring. By Strongbow. By the two Moons. I love that you've pointed out the moons. It makes her Wolfrider self that Strongbow missed so badly shine even more. I will do my best to provide a true background picture but ... this old "card" fits too well not to add it here ... Right now. And one more poem - dedicaded to Dewshine. Those two are quite contrasts. You've found beautiful words the capture LREE's essence and point out what she loves. There will be a background picture for her ... soon. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| I have not forgotten your contribution, PCoquelin. In contrary.
This "dreamy" poem is lovely ... very imaginative ... and it was quite enlightening for me. I remembered our talk some days ago - and this time I understood what you've talked about.
I love your imagination of a true Fathertree. A virtual place to live in ... a home that is alive in its own way. Interacting with us little elves. I love your organic vision of future developement. Now I wish to move in ...
And I say you've put it in beautiful words.
... and you've illustrated it perfectly your way. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| Thank you, Embala. I'm often misinterpreted, misunderstood, ignored. Always have been, along my life. Turned me into being VERY unsure about many things I could do or say or produce. Which is why I love your comments. You have the rare social talent of clearly pointing what is great, what is worthy of attention, and why. @ Prayer : When I'm silent, it either means: . I didn't see or : . It didn't trigger much in me ( or I simply wouldn't re-re-answer, in order to not blabber or fill a thread which I should not invade or pollute with too many posts ) or : . I don't like ( in which case I will most often say nothing ) ( Assume the motive for my non-reaction in that order ) What my heart pointed me to choose, as for illustrations : Moonshade : Dewshine : ___________________________________________________

| @Embala: Thank you very much for your kind words. The Moonshade card is lovely and fitting. @PC: Quality over quantity. True compassion over meaningless words. Silence can be gold. ___________________________________________________ Where flowers bloom, so does hope. - Lady Bird Johnson | |

| Many readers did not like Ruffel, but I did.
And I cried when Wendy inflicted us such an awful death scene.
Therefore, pleeeeeze accept my dearest thanks, Embala dear, for such wonderful collages of yours ! ___________________________________________________

| Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures of Dewshine and Moonshade, PC. I love them. They're one of my favourite pictures of them. Especially Moonshade looked so happy back then. And Dewshine in the beginning...such a sunny personality before Winnowill tortured her with her soulname and before the kinda forced recognition. ___________________________________________________ Where flowers bloom, so does hope. - Lady Bird Johnson | |

The early eighties. When Elfquest had the most HEART and was not turning GRIM, yet. Thank you for proving I'm not the only one with that feeling. However, with time, Wendy did, somehow, prove that she COULD again make art with heart. Because... My favourite female character.. ..is Tyleet. And ' Little Patch " is most definitely the Elfquest tale I cherish the most. ___________________________________________________

| These scenes with Ruffel were some of my favorite pictures from Prologue ... possibly from whole FQ. It was such joy to make the collages. My dear thanks for the appreciation, PC. I love your choice of Moonshade - one of my favourites again. And Dewshine ... she was such a delicate, loving and joyful child. This on is not new either but it fits the topic. And it's mine - words and collage. I hope it will be welcome in your poetry thread, Fairyring. ___________________________________________________ Indem du etwas tust, das dir oder jemand anderem gefällt, erschaffst du bereits einen Wert.

| I love this poem, Embala! Tyldak and Dewshine both say "venom" but mean a different thing. The precious wolfblood which make the wolfriders part of Abode, sharpen their senses and make their spirits in death unattached to the palace and thus, free in the afterlife is not appreciated by a glider. He just sees the mortality.
Dewshine in your poem is devastated like shown in the story...I can feel her agony when I am reading your poem. It's interesting that she says that "his body of a puzzle of parts which do not fit" (such a poetic description of Tyldak, splendid metaphor!)...she realises that he is unnaturally morphed (were the wolfriders told this information at this point of the story?).
The collage fits and is very well done. Tyldak with his unnaturally big eyes, bushy eyebrows and hostile, cold expression. Dewshine all in years and looking already tired from too much crying. Below the pictures of 'what they really are', not seen by the eye...
I like the visuality...and choice of words (which are like mirroring each other)!
@PC: Tyleet... she's my favourite as well. Gentle, peaceful, open-minded, earthy, a great mother... she's wonderful.
'Little Patch'...oh my... To be honest, I cry every time I read it. It's definitely one of Elfmom's masterpieces...
...and I treasure it deeply, deeply in my heart.
